I spent my birthday here for a relaxing spa day with my mother in law and hubby. it takes a little bit of a long time to check in, but the staff are very helpful and nice. I enjoyed my couple’s massage too. Only thing I would say is the facility is smaller than expected, and because we went on a Monday, we were not expecting it to be so busy. So the feel of a relaxing, and a somewhat “alone” atmosphere wasn’t possible but that’s okay! I still loved it:)

Steam room not working, cold plunge not working, no compensation whatsoever for having these services missing. Even the towel rack at the moisturizing station was empty. I tried to bring it to the attention of management but it was just run by a bunch of young students that don’t care. This place needs a serious management overhaul. They never replenished the wet towels after having asked and waited for an hour. Not to mention their misleading and confusing gift card practices. I’d be surprised if Strom even reads these reviews and tries to right their wrongs, because all signs lead to them really not caring about their customer experience.

Storm Spa on Nuns Island is a fantastic place to unwind. The spa has a unique open view of the sky, making it a great spot to enjoy a full moon with your date or partner. The staff is friendly and informative, ensuring you have a pleasant experience. They offer multiple saunas (both dry and wet/hammam) and hot pools, along with two cold dipping pools. The hot pool has bubbling water that resembles hot spring ponds, which is incredibly relaxing. We particularly loved the indoor resting areas, which have comfortable seating arrangements. The lockers and changing rooms were spotlessly clean and well-managed. There's also a restaurant on site, which we didn't get to try this time but will certainly be visiting again. Plus, there's plenty of free parking available. Highly recommended!

Strom Spa in Île-des-Soeurs is truly a hidden gem. The ambiance is serene and luxurious—perfect for unwinding and escaping the city buzz. The food is absolutely fantastic, beautifully presented and full of flavor, making every visit feel like a mini retreat. I love coming here so much, I’m seriously considering investing in a membership. If you’re looking for a place to relax, recharge, and indulge, Strom never disappoints!

I had a very disappointing experience with Strøm Nordic Spa. I purchased a gift card for $536.53, expecting a relaxing and enjoyable visit. Instead, I was unfairly charged an additional $265 for services already included in the gift card, and after nearly two months and multiple follow-ups, I still haven’t received a refund. Their customer service is unresponsive and unhelpful—despite acknowledging their error, they’ve failed to resolve the issue. The experience itself wasn’t great either: the thermal baths weren’t relaxing due to inconsiderate guests, and the massage left my partner in pain. To top it off, I experienced an allergic reaction after my visit. I cannot recommend this place to anyone based on this experience. It’s disappointing to see such poor customer service and lack of accountability. Here are some pictures of the food because this is the only thing that saved the day.

Absolutely loved. The thermal experience was fabulous and in loved that there were multiple dry saunas as well as relaxation spaces. Easily spent 2hrs and could’ve spent more, especially if you book the restaurant. Would love to come again!

My very first spa experience. I truly felt peace and tranquility in the various saunas and themed rooms, exploring my senses alternating between hot and cold. I also loved the walk through Nun's island on the way to the spa

Genuinely surprised by how quiet it was even though we were close from the city. We started the experience by unfortunately arriving late… A LOT of traffic (we’re living at less than 30 minutes and we gave ourselves more than hour in case, so we called explaining and they told us :”no problem will add a note to your reservation that you will have a slight delay”, which we appreciated. Had a relaxing day, even though you have people who seems to not know how to act in those places (but that’s not the Spa’s fault…) I loved the room with the infrared chairs. The staff was always helpful and smiling. Always love the food at the restaurant never disappointed (we tried the Strøm Spa at St-Hilaire) always get to try and enjoy food that I don’t tend to buy at the grocery..???? but surprised by how small it was (tables available) Overall happy and had a relaxed day!
