"Love this spa! Went last spring with my mom for some spa sessions. I had the Swedish Massage and a Reflexology Massage. My mom had a Deep Tissue Massage and a Reflexology Massage. We both loved the different massages. The Reflexology ones were our favorites. The masseurs did a great job. The spa is in a Victorian/Tudor style older home so it's a cool vibe inside with the layouts of the rooms. The spa room was very relaxing with the lighting, beds and scents. The business offers lots of fun, relaxing, massages on site. It's recommended to book in advance."

"I went in to get my nails done for my wedding this October. I loved the conversation and how easy going and relaxed the environment was. She helped me find themed ideas and customized my nails for the wedding specifically. Normally nails do not last longer then 5 days even when I get them professionally done but I got them on October 25th and I still have them with no signs of chipping or peeling 2 weeks later! I highly recommend for anyone looking to get their nails done in the area."

"The Petite Retreat is located inside a charming Tudor home, while the inside has a soothing and inviting ambiance. My masseuse was Tara, and her kindness, genuine warmth, and professionalism instantly put me at ease. I came in carrying a ton of stress in my shoulders, upper back, and neck, and the massage expertly melted it away, leaving me feeling relaxed. I never needed to tell her to go harder or softer, the pressure she used was perfect, which made this massage stand out from other experiences I've had. I am deeply grateful for the exceptional service and care I received from her. This was the best massage I've ever experienced (and I've had quite a few). I'm so glad I stumbled across this spa!"

"My husband and I are in the area celebrating our wedding anniversary. Where we are from we are local businesses owners and supporters and we do our best to support local businesses when we are out of town hence choosing Petite Retreat. Upon entering the one therapist was snarky and mean to the other therapist and this didn't go unnoticed and immediately set off the mood and ambiance of the building. We got on the tables and were told to "take everything off". We have had MULTIPLE massages and I also was a massage therapist so we know the drill. My husbands therapist made MULTIPLE comments about him keeping on his underwear ultimately making him very uncomfortable and not fully enjoy his massage. Even at one point she called him "naughty" for doing so. Neither of us said anything at the time because of how uncomfortable we were. He is a sexual abuse survivor and this ultimately made him not enjoy it. My massage was great and at one point I nearly fell asleep. As small business owners we paid for the services we received and tipped accordingly. When we return to the area we will be going elsewhere for a massage. The comments ruined the entire experience and really upset him after the fact. Do better. Be better and aware that there may be a reason why someone decides to keep certain articles of clothing on for reasons. As a massage therapist you should be knowledgeable enough to work around anything and provide the best experience possible."

"Had a facial for dehydrated skin . This was my second time . I had a very good experience earlier may be a year back. The esthetician earlier was different . Maybe the management has changed . Anyways dint feel worth 200 dollars plus Hst. Products applied seemed to be rushed and not adequate quantity. Facial massage was sort of a disappointment ,no pressure whatsoever. Was given an option for extraction first time during a facial. Esthemax mask was not applied all over the face . Will be trying some new places in niagara."

"Stayed here for one night — check-in was at 3 PM and check-out was at 11 AM. It’s a good option if you want to visit the indoor waterpark, as tickets are included with the stay. If you’re not staying at the hotel, you’ll have to buy waterpark tickets separately for about $39 (plus tax). Breakfast is available, but it costs extra. The location is convenient with Boston Pizza, Starbucks, and grocery stores all nearby. Just a heads up: there’s also an additional charge for parking. Overall, a decent stay for a night if you're planning to enjoy the waterpark. There will be a $250 cleaning fee for those who choose not to follow the no smoking policy."

"We had an excellent stay at the Americana Hotel and Water Park! The water park was perfect for our 4 and 5-year-old – they had a blast. Just a heads up, the water can get a bit cold at times, but it didn't take away from the fun. The location is great with food options within the hotel as well as plenty of dining options around and a grocery store right next door for affordable snacks. We upgraded to the junior kiddie suite, but in hindsight, it wasn’t really necessary for us since our kids preferred sleeping in the other queen bed. The room itself was spacious and well-maintained. We chose to stay from Sunday to Tuesday, and it made a big difference in avoiding crowds. Sunday evening at the water park was a bit busy, Monday was comfortably quiet at first but picked up later in the day. Overall, it was a relaxing and enjoyable experience, and we will be coming back for more fun!"

"We had a wonderful 5 night stay at the hotel! We would definitely stay again! Pros: The room was clean and met all our needs with a mini fridge and microwave! The kids had their own TV with Netflix which was a lifesaver for our kids! Beds were comfy and bedding was warm. Housekeeping was amazing! We called for a few extra items to be brought up and they were very prompt in bringing them! All of the employees we encountered were very friendly and accommodating! The restaurant downstairs was very convenient and reasonably priced. The Waterpark was perfect for my kids who are both under age 8. The water was always warm and overall, the Waterpark was never crowded. Cons: You had to pay a daily parking rate which I thought was unreasonable considering that the drive to the falls was about 15 minutes away. Overall, we were skeptical to stay because of other reviews but we are glad we did!"

"This place is amazing! It’s a waterpark designed just for kids, with shallow, kid-friendly pools and warm water. Since it’s indoors, it’s perfect to visit in the winter, but it’s also open during the summer. We had a great time! It is a bit pricey, especially if you’re just getting a day pass (overnight stays include access). One thing to watch out for—if you buy your tickets in advance, there’s still a chance you won’t get in on busy days like long weekends or school breaks. If they’re at capacity, they’ll ask you to come back. So try to go during less busy times. Other than that, it was a great experience!"

"My family and I visited Americana this past weekend, and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Check-in was smooth, and we found the staff to be very friendly. Our room was impeccably clean, and the grounds were well-maintained. I have always appreciated visiting Americana; its location offers the perfect balance, away from the main crowds of the falls. We certainly plan to return in the future."

"Surprised our kids with 1 night at the Americana, giving us 2 days use of the waterpark. The kids had a blast (ages 8 and 3), and can't wait to come back again. The waterpark is perfect for both young kids and older kids/adults. Smaller than places like fallsview and GWL but super worth it with the waterpark passes being included in the room price. Our room was clean and comfortable. All around good experience ????"

"Overall was ok and a fun vacation for our family. Waterpark was smaller and great for families with younger kids. However, main pool needs more filtration. I had noticed many things like hair and debris floating in the pool over the course of 2 days in the pool. While I understand the chlorine is keeping it clean, I do not care for someone’s hair stick to my hand while playing with my kids. Check in area does not include ramp or bellhops nearby. While the hotel is all connected, they do not expect guests to bring in their luggage at check in. Additionally, it was unknown to us that there is a separate parking charge per day but not much security or gate access as the parking lot is open to the public. Plenty of places to eat and a Starbucks within walking distance are bonuses."

"We booked a two queen bed room for one night. Had two families with two kids. The room was clean and perfect and spacious. Surprisingly had two washrooms and a separate living room with dining table. Room was like a big condo. The water Park was a bit too small for using two days. Looks big in the photos and videos but the area is quite small. Has two water slides one with tube and one without . The rest of the area is just pool kind. With small slides for small kids. Had a hot tub area too for adults. We can spend 2-3 hours at best in that area. Not more. It becomes a bit boring. Location is good. Overall a good trip to a water park."

"I came to Loft for the first time today because my scalp has been incredibly dry and I read some amazing reviews, and holy moly Crystal was amazing! I don’t think I’ve ever felt so relaxed and pampered, and my scalp hasn’t felt so clear in quite a long time. An amazing sensory experience, even from the aesthetics of the waiting room and the treatment room itself, to the scents of products used, and heated blankets and eye mask. I can’t wait to come back again! John also gave me a wonderful blow dry when I was done ????"

"***UPDATE*** I wish I could give more stars!!! I recently experienced the new service of the Diamond Head Spa — and I cannot recommend this enough. I felt relaxed, pampered, and just pure bliss. I would highly recommend trying any of the head spa services, I left feeling amazing especially topping it off with a cocoon to seal the deal!!!! I am continuously amazing at the sheer awesomeness of the staff especially Crystal. Her ability to create a welcoming decadent and superior experience for all clients is outstanding and I cannot recommend this place enough. ***ORIGINAL REVIEW FROM FOUR YEARS AGO*** I am so very lucky to live so close to this establishment.... This allows me to visit frequently... And every time I do I am treated AMAZINGLY... Adore Crystal, Elora and the entire team who work so hard to make the entire experience top level from start to finish!
