"My wife’s regular nail salon was closed on the Sunday of her birthday, so I decided to surprise her with a manicure and pedicure from Gloss and Blink. When I walked in, I asked for both services and mentioned that she likes to have designs on her nails, similar to the longer, fake nails she usually gets. I’ve never had to specify anything beyond that before — other salons have always understood. But at this place, they charged nearly $100 just to paint her natural nails and do a basic pedicure. I also made it clear that I wanted everything paid for in advance, so she wouldn’t have to worry about anything during her appointment. Yet, of course, there was an additional $10 charge for the type of polish they used — something that wasn’t communicated beforehand. Honestly, this place feels like a cash grab. I won’t be using their services again, and I’ll be letting others know to avoid it as well. There’s a much better nail tech just down the road who’s more transparent and professional"

"Got my nails done yesterday… I haven’t had good experiences anywhere here in st Catharine’s but found out about this place and decided to give it a try. All I can say is Jade(I believe her name was) was incredible. Her attention to detail was awesome. I showed her a sample photo and my nails turned out way better. I will definitely be back."

"I went to many nail salons but this is my favourite spot so far. All the staff seem friendly and professional, especially Sarah. She’s really attentive to her works and her customers when she is willing to spend time to make the customers satisfied with their nails when they leave. I do really recommend it!!!"

"Amazing My first time going and the place is very cozy and clean. It does not smell strongly in there of chemicals. Great instrumental music and great stuff on the TV! Warning: You may leave hungry. 2 girls worked on my set, Elle did shaping and color applications and Lynn finished color sparkles and did jewels. Most affordable set was charged 65. Simply stunning. "I've been to Gloss 'n' Blink a few times and I always leave happy. The staff are terrific so friendly. Lynn did my nails today, I absolutely love them!!! I got my nails done again today. Again, I'm so happy with my nails. Rina did a fantastic job, she drew the black painting by hand. I totally recommend Gloss 'n' Blink. Rina did another great job. Definately need to check Gloss 'n' Blink out, you will be happy with the outcome!!!!. Gloss N Blink has another location at 359 Carlton at Lake. I don't drive so, I took at taxi, I wanted Lynn to do my nails. And she did an amazing job. If you're looking for a great nail Salon, this is it. I promise, you won't be disappointed. "Had the pleasure of having my nails and toes done by Kylie. I showed her a picture and my nails came out better than the photo! She did an incredible job and very attentive and took her time. I got the bioGel for the first time ever and they are solid and very natural. She paid so much attention to detail and I've gotten numerous compliments on my nails. Thanks Kylie!!! I love my nails. I'll be back soon for another style and design."
