Nice architecture and beautiful construction. The tour guide explain everything really well. They have detailed tour for 1 hour. They also had nice small museum inside the hotel. Views from the hotel was great. Must visit once. You need to park your vehicle on any paid parking lot and you can visit all places and streets nearby.

We were able to visit the spa while we were in the city and it was an amazing experience! We had booked a package that came with massages, facials, and a packaged lunch. There had been a hiccup with scheduling so we had to book for our last day in town before we flew out but it worked out super well and we were grateful to be accommodated. We received spa sandals and a locker in the locker room to change into robes upon arrival. We also had lovely lemon water while waiting for our treatments. It was so relaxing and a nice de-stressor before traveling. The lunch really set it over the top though, it was a 4 course meal packed to go which was perfect because we flew out of Montreal and had the perfect packaged lunch for the long car ride. All the staff was so nice and helpful. We didn’t have to stay at the hotel to get the 5-star experience and we had access to the pool, spa, and sauna afterwards! Couldn’t ask for a better experience and can’t thank the staff enough!!

booked a spa during my stay at the hotel for myself and my mother. I told them the appointments didn’t need to be at the same time, but we both got appointments for 2pm. When we walked in the room we realized they booked my mother and I for a couples massage. Which wasn’t the end of the world but it was bizarre. The massage it self was… challenging. The massage tables were so small. If you a larger person or a person with broad shoulders beware. I could not keep my arms on the table while I was laying on my stomach. I was so uncomfortable for the entire hour I was on my stomach and then I was embarrassed to say anything as my mother was also in the room with me. I got a hot and cold stone massage. I’ve had many other hot stone massages but these stones were at an unsafe temperature and left burns on my skin. I felt like I was being tortured for 100 minutes. To top it all off I got off the table and I couldn’t walk as I had thrown my back out. I spent the rest of my trip in my hotel bed. My mom also was in a lot of pain when she got up from the table. Kind of hilarious that we paid so much for this in such a nice hotel. I get massages back home every other month and thuroghly enjoy them. It’s really a shame. I won’t be booking a massage on vacation again. :(

We had a regular room that looked into the court yard, so we could not see the city or the river. However, the bee hives are interesting. The room was very nice. Fairly basic. However, the bed was very comfortable. The most impressive thing we noticed was how incredibly clean the rooms are. The housekeeping staff on the Sixth floor is OUTSTANDING. I apologize for not knowing their names, but they get gold stars. The hotel is of course, very beautiful. The buffet breakfast was wonderful. I’m not normally into buffets, but the croissants are outstanding as well as the cheeses available. The hotel has many activities that are included in your stay and I strongly suggest as soon as you get settled in your room, you visit the concierge desk and find out about the included activities. We went to a Mixology class that was hosted by Jeremy. He is very friendly and knowledgeable. We liked him immediately. As luck would have it, in the hotel bar, Jeremy was our bartender 3 out of 4 days. He made us wonderful cocktails and educated us as to the ingredients and liquors used in the cocktails. We went through the entire list of specialty cocktails and enjoyed every one. Each one was a party in your mouth with the combination of flavors. Jeremy is a particularly nice person and I would guess he is going places. He is also very knowledgeable of the history of the different liquors used in our cocktails and of the City of Quebec in general. The day Jeremy was unable to be our bartender, Pamela took very good care of us. She is funny, knowledgeable, very particular about our cocktails. The cocktails were wonderful and being in the bar was educational and entertaining. We visited the spa for a couples massage. In short that was wonderful, except I disturbed my wife with copious snoring, is the repot I got. The porters are friendly and eager to help. It seems to be a theme at the Fairmont Le Chateau Frontenac that the employees are history buffs. One porter, who’s name I did not get, but I’ll just call him Handle Bars. You will know him when you see him. He basically drew out a walking tour for me to take. He explained the importance of Louis XIV to the founding of Quebec and the French General who was placed in charge of defending the city. I appreciate the history lessons. If we ever get back to Quebec City, we will stay at the Fairmont Le Chateau Frontenac again.

Great service, beautiful location. Food is sublime. Staff is absolutely the best. I was in bed feeling a little sick, so I called the reception for some gluten-free toast & bananas… they said since it was lunchtime they didn’t really make toast etc. I told her I was because I wasn’t feeling well…. 10min later they delivered to my room and when I asked to sign the bill… the staff member said « It’s on us».

The best deep tissue massage. RMT was excellent and very professional. Room was nice and RMT ensured room temperature and music were at appropriate levels. Brought a nice cold glass of water following treatment. It was expensive, but worth it.
