Apparently I had booked the top of the line facial offered at this spa. My experience was awful. The lady who was giving me the facial kept on talking and tired me out with how long she talked before we could even begin in the facial. The music was so loud that it felt like I was in a bar. It was most stressful than it was relaxing. Then my face broke out into acne and bumps since then and it still has not subsided. I’m convinced she used dirty instruments or something. I still tipped her but I honestly did it begrudgingly. I will not return. The receptionist (I think her name was Tia) was super sweet. I had this facial done last summer with another lady (I think she was Iranian) and I regret not asking for her again this time around. She was clean, professional, kept a relaxing ambience as one desires during an 300.00 facial, and I really saw results. I don’t think this last time it was don’t hygienically. My face is a mess now. Not returning. There is no zero star rating.
I used to go to Le Petit Spa for waxing with an esthetician I followed from spa to spa for over 15 years, and because of that relationship I chose Le Petit Spa for a shower/spa party for my daughter’s wedding party. When I called to inquire about hosting a spa party there I got the impression it was not something they had a lot of experience doing. It was tough to get the info I needed. But I’d been to a few so thought I’d help them out and booked the appointment and worked on a spreadsheet for my guests to choose services from so I could present it to the spa and they could staff it accordingly. However, when we called with the info they said they had cancelled our reservation because we hadn’t got back to them fast enough with numbers? Typically when I book an appointment anywhere it’s confirmed unless I cancel, so that came as a shock! Anyhow got through that mess, rebooked and continued to trust it would all work out. The maid of honour decorated and put out an incredible spread of cheeses and chocolates and champagne etc. I arrived 8 minutes late with the bride because it was a surprise and instead of being greeted with a smile and a glass of champagne we were greeted with a line of angry estheticians waiting to get started with the services that were now 8 minutes behind schedule and the wedding party was clearly stressed ???? So no champagne or socializing at the start, but we were told we would see each other in between services, the idea was that people would flow in and out of the lounge for services and mingle in between. That’s how a spa party typically runs. But that didn’t happen, they did all the services back to back, so we had no time to visit until all services done. So the lovely spread and champagne had to sit for almost 3 hours ???? And then they started hounding us to pack up because the spa was closing soon. So it was a disaster from the get go and I felt responsible because I recommended the spa. So I hope this review helps others who book a spa party here! Make sure to check often that your reservation is still in effect, book extra time for socializing before, in between and after all services and provide a detailed schedule of what services you would like and when so there are no surprises!! On a positive note, I see they have since updated their website to include various spa packages so my review has already resulted in some positive changes! My feedback fell on deaf ears until I wrote the review and then they were very angry. So while they’ve lost me as a valuable customer hopefully they will gain new ones as a result ????
I would definitely recommend Le Petit Spa. Me and my friend had the best time for all our services starting with the relaxation massage to the perfect facial. We were welcomed kindly and had some time to spent at the lounge area which is filled with peacefulness. We enjoyed our Lavender tea and had the best chance to relax and enjoyed every minute of it. At last we were also provided with 15% off for our facials since it was on a Friday. The girl at the front was very kind and welcoming. Thank you Le Petit Spa for your great professional services see you again very soon.
Booked a 90-minute massage with Mehr. She is wonderful, better than some RMTs I’ve had treatment from. She knows how to treat body issues. I will book with her again. And not wait so long to return.
Caroline is an angel! Her hands are something special and magical! Highly recommended!!! Best massage ever! Le Petit Spa very good place! Clean, good smell, modern, pretty nice! I truly enjoyed my 90 minutes massage
My friend and I visited your spa on Wednesday, September 11/24 to checkout your products and to ask a couple questions. We were quite disappointed with the lack of customer service and behavior from the receptionist with the dark brown hair. Without asking what our questions were, or even to ask if we required any assistance with selecting products. She just sat at the front desk and did not seem interested in helping and abruptly told us to go online for further information when we asked her a question. Customer service is very important to us and your spa lacked this extremely important component. We both worked in the retail industry and would never treat our customers in this way. From this day on, we will be informing ALL our friends/families not to come here and go to another spa where they have exceptional customer service and are appreciated. Unfortunately, Google would not let us give you no stars and I am required to leave a 1 star. Hopefully your customer service changes soon.
The staff at Le Petit Spa are friendly, accommodating and very good at what they do. Always a wonderful experience!
Third worst massage of my life. The very worst was an RMT near Alma & Broadway years ago who seemed awkward and embarrassed to be giving a massage—which was really unpleasant — then she gave unwelcome advice to see the clinic’s chiropractor. The second worst was a very painful foot massage at a place not too far away on Broadway a few years ago. The present experience was at least better than those other two. I don’t like to complain but there’s quite a bit of money and time involved with these things, and it’s also quite a sensitive and personal experience that you might hope would be really enjoyable and relaxing. By contrast I’ve had many great massages years ago—I think the factors that made them good were talent, finding someone who is in tune with you, who has comfort with and enjoyment of their job, and in an environment where you feel like you’re being treated like someone special.
