recently visited New Brilliance Spa for massage therapy and had a mixed experience. The staff was courteous, but the ambiance lacked the soothing elements typically associated with a spa—such as calming lighting, pleasant aromas, and tranquil sounds. Additionally, there was no clear explanation of the available massage options or guidance on selecting a suitable treatment. While the service was satisfactory, enhancing the environment and providing better client information could significantly improve the overall experience.

I recently visited New Brilliance Spa after seeing its impressive 4.8 rating and 100+ reviews. While the massage itself was truly excellent, there were a few aspects of the experience that fell short for me. The atmosphere wasn’t very welcoming. The waiting area felt more like a real estate office than a relaxing spa, and the dim lighting throughout didn’t help much. That said, the calming music in the background did bring a sense of peace and helped set a soothing tone. The owner, Mark, was incredibly kind and accommodating. He answered all my questions and made me feel at ease. However, I struggled to communicate effectively with the masseuse due to a language barrier. I asked for a gentler touch multiple times, but it took three tries before the pressure was adjusted. I also came in specifically for a neck, shoulder, and head massage—and made it clear that I didn’t want my back worked on—but that part was unfortunately ignored. Despite all that, I’m still rating this highly because of the masseuse’s skill. Once we got on the same page, the massage was absolutely incredible—one of the best I’ve had. I fell asleep multiple times. Definitely going to come back again for a full body massage! If the communication issues and environment were improved, this would easily be a five-star experience!

I had a great experience with Tina tonight. I called an hour before to see if there was a last minute massage as I don’t have insurance either and it was amazing. She focused on all the areas I asked for and I felt she put a lot of care into the massage. I will be recommending this to friends and family.

Not a friendly place. Will book an appointment but later don’t give the service. Doesn’t understand English and made me pay before providing the service. Also after all that asked for extra tip or didn’t let me go.

No deep tissue massage, when I asked for one thing she didn’t understand and got mad. I felt uncomfortable being naked, this isn’t the experience I am used to getting. At the end of the session, she walked in without knocking, as I was getting dressed as she told me to, i covered up quick and she laughed and closed the door. My friend was outside watching her pace around, she was about to walk in again before her colleague stopped her and knocked instead respectfully. I think it matters which girl u get. But even tho my friend thought his massage was strong he was still getting touched inappropriately.

I came with my husband on weekend, we enjoyed couple massage. Staff very nice and showing good client care. We like the service and will recommend our friends come here too.
