Spirit Spa was a wonderful experience. From the moment you walk in, the hostess greets you and offers to take your coat, you are escorted to a beautiful seating area where there is coffee/tea served to you (hello, full service). The best part though, is sitting in the chair of a brilliant stylist, “Manny”. Might I add, I love in Toronto and had my hair done here because he was available. Manny is greatly skilled at colour and styling, he listens to what your wishes are. He will gently guide you through the process all awhile acting as your therapist too (sorry Manny). His kind, warm and spiritual nature immediately puts you at ease and you know you’re in good hands. Every visit I have (mostly Toronto) I walk out feeling more refreshed and beautiful as ever. I would highly recommend Manny for your next pamper day! He’s always booked up so squeeze yourself in there to hold your spot! See you real soon!!

Loved it. Went in for Hair Balayage appointment, Leoh made sure everything was set and done properly. They also explained the steps so I knew what to expect. No extra product pushing or advertising. Overall relaxing experience and will recommend them to everyone. And I love my new hair look ????

The best salon around! It was my first time here today and I was very pleasantly surprised at how stunning the atmosphere was, I was greeted by a lovely woman who offered me coffee or other yummy drinks, and lead to a beautiful waiting area. I’m used to bringing a little bag with a water bottle and a red bull, but that’s not needed here! How lovely! Jenna did my full highlight and she was wonderful, absolutely professional and so sweet! I’m the kind of gal who’s super busy in my day to day, so I just like to come into the salon and not really talk too much just enjoy the experience????‍♀️, she caught my vibe right away, was so kind, explained her steps and made me feel really comfortable in her chair. My hair looks AMAZING, like best it’s ever looked, thank you Jenna! I’ll for sure rebook with her, and recommend her and this salon.

Spirit Spa never disappoints! I’ve been a client for over two years, and they’ve consistently maintained excellent service. I have tried nearly all beauty salons in Halifax and found Spirit to be the best one. The staff is friendly, professional, and always ensures you leave happy. On one occasion, they even offered me a refund for a service I wasn’t completely happy with—a very thoughtful gesture! The ladies at the front desk are always kind, polite, welcoming, and the stylists, massage therapists, and aestheticians are all top-notch. Both Rachel and Manny are fantastic hairstylists, and I trust them completely. I have recently had my highlights done with Manny and let me tell you this is the best ever highlights experience I’ve had here in Halifax. I highly recommend both Manny and Rachel to anyone who is looking for quality hair services—whether it's a blowout, cut, or color. I'm always satisfied with the results!

I had an amazing experience at Spirit Spa from start to finish! The atmosphere was so welcoming, and the ladies there were incredibly friendly and professional. From the moment I walked in, I felt relaxed and cared for. The amenities were top-notch, offering everything you could need for a luxurious spa day. I booked the Knot Massage with Leah, and she was absolutely fantastic. It was hands down one of the best massages I’ve ever had! Leah’s technique was spot on, and she really worked out all the tension while still making the experience relaxing. I left feeling refreshed, rejuvenated, and already planning my next visit. If you’re in Halifax and need a little self-care, Spirit Spa is the place to go! Highly recommend!

I have been going to Spirit since its early days on Barrington Street before its relocation to Salter Street (where I go now) and have always been impressed by the consistency and quality of service. From the moment you arrive, the staff are warm and welcoming. Whether you are receiving a pedicure, bespoke facial, massage, or any of their many other services, the treatment quality is outstanding, delivered by skilled professionals who are highly knowledgeable and clearly take pride in their work. From check-in to departure, you feel genuinely valued as a client. I can't say enough good things about Spirit!
