Wonderful escape for Spa Enthusiasts. Nordic in tradition it offers serene wooded ambiance, and tranquil quiet areas. I have been there numerous times willing to make the roughly 4 hour hike for a peaceful and relaxing getaway in Oro Medonte just North of Barrie. The circuit of hydrotherapy, dry sauna and steam rooms with aroma therapy and cold plunges is amazing. Also dining on site. Staff is very friendly. Highly recommend!

I had an amazing time at Vettä Nordic Spa! From the moment I arrived until the very end, everything was simply perfect. The atmosphere is beautiful, clean, and incredibly relaxing—an ideal place to recharge and unwind. Even on a busy weekend, there was plenty of space for everyone to enjoy the experience comfortably. I loved the variety of saunas, steam rooms, hot and cold pools, and relaxation areas. The spa is thoughtfully designed to offer a peaceful and rejuvenating experience. The restaurant was also a pleasant surprise—delicious food, though the service was a bit slow. Still, it was well worth the wait! One of my favorite aspects was the phone-free policy, which truly allows you to disconnect and be fully present in the moment. I can’t wait to return for another perfect spa day!

A great way to relax. The area is peaceful, and a great way to relax. I enjoyed the sauna but it was a little too hot so the stream rooms were more my vibe. Staff is very helpful and easy to talk to, and the social area temp pools are amazing. You can stay in there for essentially the whole day. I wouldn’t recommend that but you do you. Cold plunge is definitely colder than ambient temp but that’s part of the hydrotherapy. I got myself a massage and shoutout to James for it! There little on parking for a day visit but that is to be expected since a snowstorm Recently passed when we visited. It is a time to relax so actually leave the phone in your locker. I would go again! I think the overall quality of the amenities and the cost of entry + massage to be under $300 for a day entry is reasonable enough! Maybe on a higher end compared to other outdoor spas near Toronto but definitely check it out.

I had a wonderful experience at this excellent spa, enjoying the aromatic steam room, salt exfoliation, and heated stone bed. My only suggestions for improvement would be to enhance the bar's cocktail offerings, as I found them somewhat weak in flavor, and to consider expanding the changing room, as it can become crowded and less clean on weekends. Otherwise, the spa is truly superb.

A nice Nordic spa for a group outing or for a solo Zen visit. The bistro serves snacks, sandwiches, small lunch items along with a variety of drink options. The restaurant is lovely but it's only open on the weekends I believe. They serve fresh, filling healthy dishes. The facilities are very clean and the staff are generally friendly. You can get towels replaced by asking the staff. The robes will incur a charge to replace them so try to use the towels when moving around. I haven't been to the Scandinave spa but with this spa being close to home and not too crowded, I don't need to go elsewhere. You leave feeling so amazing and relaxed if you manage to spend 3-4 hours and get through a few cycles. It's too bad there isn't accommodation footsteps away to continue the state of bliss. Horseshoe resort is around the corner if you really do need accommodations and they have a package with Vetta too but with some limitation of the days. Overall, I highly recommend visiting and I look forward to visiting again perhaps in the fall months.

I come to this place often and love it! Couple tiny enhancements could improve the experience: Check in time takes to long - needs to be re-thought: Waivers at the front should be done once for monthly membership holders. A suggestion is to put all questions on one page that says select Y or N to all of the above. Text box for notes. Vs individual pages for each question. Shouldn’t have to carry around towels. There should be an abundance outside at little stands with places to toss them out and grab fresh ones. Bathing suit ringer machine should be in the change rooms. Water pressure could be stronger in the showers. Other than that, this place is upscale, phenomenal and relaxing.

My husband and I just visited Vetta Nordic Spa, and it was a great experience overall. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to relax and recharge. The food options were solid, with two different choices: a casual café where you order at the counter and a sit-down option where you are served. The bathroom had great blow dryers, and the lotion smelled amazing—a small but lovely touch. The staff were all friendly and helpful, making us feel welcomed throughout the day. We were also happy to see that the no-cell-phone policy seemed to be enforced, as we didn’t see anyone with phones or taking pictures, which helped maintain the serene atmosphere. That said, there are a couple of things that could be improved. We noticed several people talking in the no-talk zones, which disrupted the peaceful atmosphere. It would be great if staff were more proactive in addressing this. Additionally, there was a man who slept for over two hours in the only quiet relaxation room and snored loudly both times we were in there. In my opinion, a staff member should have kindly asked him to move to another relaxation zone that allowed talking. Despite these minor issues, we thoroughly enjoyed our 7-hour spa day, moving through the hot, cold, and relaxation cycles and ending with a salt scrub. We will be back!
