Rachel has been doing my hair for years and years and I have had such a great experience every time. She always takes the time to explain to me when I dye my hair how my hair may be affected so I can make an informed decision and know exactly what I can expect. She is always honest with me and very trustworthy. If I am debating between doing two different things to my hair she could easily pick the one that would be more expensive but instead she always advises me to do the option that is best for my hair and will keep it at its healthiest. She has also cut my toddlers hair and she is so patient and great with him. You can tell she genuinely loves her job and her clients. I always feel refreshed and beautiful after leaving her chair!

I started going to Rachel over 15 years ago when I finally decided to embrace my natural curls. She has been amazing at educating me on how to care for my curls. She had an amazing eye for what looks good on a person and has always done an awesome job. I have thoroughly enjoyed all of the "experiments" we have tried over the years with my color. Every appointment has me leaving feeling and looking amazing.

I can’t say enough good things about Lumey’s talent for eyebrows! I’ve had my brows done by a lot of people over the years, but no one does it like Lumey. She takes the time to shape them to absolute perfection, giving them that natural yet polished look that I love. I actually drive from Toronto just to see her—it’s worth every mile! If you’re looking for someone who really understands brows, Lumey is your person.

I recently went to Escape Salon and Day Spa to get my hair done by Rachel Stemmler. I left the salon feeling amazing and refreshed. The salon is open, clean and welcoming. Rachel is such a knowledgeable hairstylist, I learned so much about my hair. I had never gotten my hair dyed before and she made my first experience amazing. She is so nice, friendly and professional. I would and will definitely recommend her. The picture I added is of my transformation, I LOVE it.

When I told Rachel, my stylist, that she had cut my bangs too short.. she laughed at me and said it was just because of the way she had styled them. Yet she said she styled them how I asked, she even asked what size round brush I used at home. But when you start styling and drying before you separate and cut the bangs …. I knew she was going to eff it up before I even put my glasses on to look in the mirror. I honestly BAWLED, and I mean sobbed, the whole 25 minute drive home because she royally effed my cut and I have a wedding in 4 days!! I even came home, wet my hair and styled and blow dried it how I would…. It literally looks like a 5yo cut my hair.

I love coming here to see Rachel Stemmler - SHE KNOWS HER STUFF!!! I have seen her a handful of times and I have been so, so happy with the results each and every time. She has made me re-love my hair! What's even better is she takes care of your hair so whatever she does I trust her fully. I would and have recommended her to many. The salon is always clean and tidy, and very welcoming as well. They have a slew of products and services which all seem to be amazing. I get my hair oils and protectants from here as they are stellar and I have been seeing the difference in my hair for months now.
