I went here last Monday to get my second lobe ear piercing and for a kids “princess treatment” facial. Thank you to Manpreet who helped and did it! The piercing is amazing and my skin felt so nice!

I’ve gone to beauty first for eyelash extensions a few times and usually don’t have any issues. However, during the last visit where I got eyelash extensions, the aesthetician who did them put on way too many lashes and glue, even though I emphasized several times I wanted a more natural look similar to my previous appointments. Around 30 minutes into the procedure, my eyes had a burning sensation, which I voiced to her, however, she continued with the eyelash extensions stating that sometimes the eyes can be sensitive during the procedure. The entire process took well over two hours. At the two hour mark, I voiced again if we could stop because the discomfort and burning in the eyes was getting a lot worse, however, she continued stating that there was just a couple more spots to fill. When she was filling these last few spots, my eyes were extremely watery due to the discomfort, and she had to use a lot of glue in order to place the final lashes. After the procedure, the lashes were way more dramatic than the natural look I had asked for, and my eyes were bloodshot red. My symptoms worsened over the next 24 hours, thus I returned the following day to have them removed. The lady who removed them was extremely kind. She had to apply the lash removal solution over five times, and she voiced this was unusual because usually the entire process shouldn’t take more than 30 minutes. I understand it likely took longer because I just gotten the extensions the day before, however the removal process took an hour and a half and they still weren’t able to remove all the lashes. She was empathetic and didn’t charge me for the lash removal. I asked for a refund for the lash extension given the adverse reaction, however I never got a refund.

Aman did my eyebrows and full face threading. It was an amazing experience as she was very methodical and checked in with me at every step. She finished my session off with a cryotherapy face massage to reduce inflammation from the threading. It was a wonderful experience and the price was veryyy good for the amount of services I get. 10/10 would recommend.

I’ve always had positive experiences getting my eyebrows threaded at Beauty First, the Oakville location. The ladies always take their time and do a beautiful job. Today’s beautician was extremely professional, conscientious and caring. I appreciate the skills and talent of the staff here at Beauty First.

Good! I’ve been get eyebrow threading here for the past 2+ years. Some technicians do a better job than others, but overall they all do a decent job! They used to use this cold ball thing and do a little eyebrow massage after but I haven’t had that the past few times I’ve been there. I definitely miss that especially the cold ball thing since it took away some of the pain/redness after. It’s very easy to make appointments online and I never have to wait long at all when I get there!

Everyone here is great but Zuhal did an amazing job on my eyebrows! She was quick and detailed with my brow threading and she taught me how to nicely fill in my brows with the Beauty First brow pencil.
