Rosa was amazing. Great relaxing massage. Tired of paying too much for a RMT I thought I would pop in and see what they offered with the thought of sending my wife. Rosa explained the different massage options and prices and stressed there was no tipping required. She also explained the couples massage which really interested me. I decided to try the shortest option to check it out. I loved it. I was passing the spa a week later and decided to drop in again. Rosa was able to take me right away without an appointment. Nice atmosphere, great service and if all the staff are as lovely as Rosa I would highly recommend this spa.
Firstly, during massage felt nothing( just light touch and it wasn't relaxing).Secondly, they charged me for completely different treatment from what I actually got (I got my massage and then get charged for acupuncture which is cost more). Thirdly, massage was supposed to be for 45 minutes and I got less than this.
Great experience to be here!!reasonable price , I enjoyed the professional massage and wonderful environment ????thank you ????????
I was drawn in by the $48/hour massage sign outside. I don't think I would go back. I didn't feel overly welcomed when I entered. They wanted to charge me $70, saying it included the tip, without asking me how much I wanted to tip. There was also a weird sign about not allowing illegal activities on the wall. Reading that sign after a relatively good massage left me feeling uneasy.
The woman told me this afternoon that $60 is for the room only, not for massage. What you do in the room with the masseuse is based on how much you want to tip her. This place is a brothel. I left without getting a massage. Be careful, this place is in a regular neighbourhood in North Van and appears to be legit on the outside. Right next to a sushi place and Starbucks people are having sex for money ????
I had a wonderful massage from Amy,she really knew how to get the knots out of my back, shoulders, neck and legs. She is a great conversationalist as well and I immediately felt at ease her.The atmosphere is very pleasant with a large waiting area that has filtered water to drink upon your revival. Tea is also offered. Great location 1/2 block off of Lonsdale in North Vancouver
I was yesterday with my sis(my guest ) we went for relaxing whole body massage but we came out pain full and not relaxing . And the lady did massage for my sister she was very rude she did turn off music when we were in room and they had rush for closing.I told her my sister did know the English don't puresur to her just soft massage. But she did not notice and after that when I ask her she told was miss comunicatin .My sis didn't take whole body massage! !!!! For reservations she didn't ask me for women or men and I did push take massage with guy. ????But time go I had massage with another lady she was very good ,not this time.???????????? I'm very disappointed.???????? and still in pain.Just I pay money .we (both) are not happy. ????????
I was very disappointed. I think there are two types of spa massage place. The professional ones that hires trained RMTs (registered massage therapists) and the fly-by-night places that hires "young asians", advertise online and have per "bait and switch" tactics. This place has $48/hr massage advertised all over the place including on their door. But as soon as you walk in and are ready on the table, they want to up-sell you to a $110/hr "package". I wanted the advertised 48/hr massage. For $105, I can get a professional massage by an RMT! When I refuse the upsell, the masseuse then wanted me to switch to a male, and I said "no", I prefer a female. After that, she changed the story and said she could only do 45 min!!! I probably should have walked out. I got a 7/10 massage which is what I would expect from a non-RMT at that price but when paying, she told me the price was $45 for 45 min and $55 for 60 minutes and tips were not included. I gave her $60 cash waiting for change back but she said the rest was for a tip! I've never, ever been to a place that refuses to give you change! She ended up giving me $5 back and complained that she was only paid by tips! Well, that's either a lie or against employment laws. That's not my problem. When I go to the $105 professional places with RMT, I'm told tips are not expected or common! I think with some of these lesser places, you have to negotiate the price before the deliver services. That way they are no bad surprises on either side but I don't think that's the way these fly-by-night places work. So overall, the message was good (after that initial negotiation phase was done) but the post message nonsense make me give this place a one star. When I go for a massage, it's not to be taken for a ride! Oh, and none of the pretty young asians advertised online work there! They seem to pull pictures from the web?
