I have been seeing Kimen every other week for a couple of years and it’s no coincidence that I have been healthy and injury-free the entire time. Peterson Wellness & Massage Therapy Clinic is top notch, the staff are incredibly kind, and the space is lovely, clean, and welcoming. Kimen goes above and beyond in every treatment. You can tell how much all of his patients mean to him and he truly is the most caring and considerate person. I sometimes joke that Kimen is more than an outstanding Registered Massage Therapist, he is also a great Life Therapist - but it’s not a joke - his energy and ability to listen to people always makes me feel better about all aspects of my life, not only my movement. Kimen is always on time, professional, and is able to quickly assess problem areas and get to the root of any issue. I have recommended him to many training partners, but I would recommend his practice to anyone - Team Canada or not!

I was always afraid of needles... but due to the amount of exercise and skin problems I have, acupuncture was the next best option for me. Petersen Wellness & Massage Therapy exceeds expectations. Super friendly, very comfortable (even though needles aren't my thing.) There is the option of using laser acupuncture, which still works just as well I find if you really ARE scared of needles. But seriously, try the needles first, because Patricia does a great job and won't push you either. I am always feeling refreshed, relaxed and amazing after every session. My skin is currently under control and my muscles are feeling a lot better after each session. Thank you Peterson Wellness for being amazingly patient and wonderful people.

In terms of personality all the therapists at Petersen Wellness are off the charts! I've sent patients to Jill, Patricia, and Kimen and only received very positive feedback. I always feel great after personally going there, not only from the excellent skill that has been on demonstration but also from the positive energy that the staff exude. You cannot go wrong with seeing any one here.

This is a great opportunity for me to say some kind words of the great work that Patricia Petersen and Kimen Petersen offer. I've worked with both Patricia and Kimen both professionally and personally. I have received acupuncture and massage treatment myself from both of them. They are skilled and confident in the work that they do. I was extremely pleased with the treatment I received. I feel very comfortable referring my patient to their office for services. Combining massage therapy, acupuncture and chiropractic; it's a winning formula. Personally, I like both Patricia and Kimen. They are sincere honest people. They have my vote of confidence and I look forward to continuing that relationship both professionally and as personal friends.

I have been seeing Kimen for massage therapy on a regular basis for several months. He is extremely knowledgeable, professional, and intuitive. I am so happy I started working with him and as an elite runner I know that this will help me recover quicker, prevent injury, and improve efficiency! Kimen is incredibly hard working and ensures that every client he sees gets his full attention and his full effort. Kimen is an exceptional therapist (and a great guy!). I was fortunate to be treated by Kimen while on a national team at the World Half Marathon champs in Spain and I've continued to see him for massage. Not surprisingly, I've since learned that many of Vancouver's elite athletes also see Kimen. He's a very talented massage therapist and has a mindbogglingly good ability to zone in on the source of pains and injuries. His work has allowed me to train and compete at my best, whether it be at World Half Marathon champs or the Sun run. Thanks so much Kimen :)
