Chantal is amazing! She is incredibly kind and caring, highly skilled, extremely knowledgeable and so funny! I always love my appointments with her and I never, ever, will take for granted that I am in the hands of greatness when I am in her care! Chantal is always up to date on the latest trends in aesthetics & laser and will never pressure you. She will always take the time to answer questions and explain each procedure. She truly is an expert in her field! The ambiance in Prim is always inviting and comfortable and the staff is friendly and caring. Lethbridge is so fortunate to have this outstanding business to treat and beautify clients!
If you are looking for a group of people who truly care about their clients, I highly recommend Prim. Their customer service is consistent with every visit, and I am always met with smiles when I walk in the door. Jo- (Josie) has an amazing talent for feathering and layering hair to create a brilliant cut! I have LONG thick, fine hair and she has given me a look that other salons talked me out of. I LOVE IT! I have been to Jo multiple times and will continue to see her for my hair. Chantal is an amazingly, caring human who is an EXPERT regarding skin, body hair, and treatments. I went to her 18 years ago when she was at the medical clinic for laser hair removal, and was extremely happy with the results. I knew she was the one to see. This week I spent the day with her for a micro-needling treatment. It was painless, and relaxing (the numbing cream was perfect), and she brought a ton of joy to the day. She also gave me thorough aftercare instructions, and I'm excited to see the results as my skin transforms. I have had manicures, gel nails, and pedicures at Prim and have always had great experiences and interactions. I always get reminder texts and have calls returned. In the rare event, that there is a cancellation or rebooking needed from them, it has always worked out better for my schedule. On the other hand, when I have had to rebook an appointment due to an unforeseen circumstance, they have always been very flexible and understanding with me. Thank you Prim for all you do- see ya next time!
I won’t return to Prim for future services. This was my very first visit to Prim. My stylist was 20 minutes late and although my appointment was for balayage, I left with uneven highlights and banding across my hair. Although my hair was toned during my appointment, it went very brassy within 3 days, which has never happened this quickly in the past. I contacted Breanne, the stylist, who defended her work and maintained that my hair looks good. She blamed my hair type as the cause for the result and said she feels she did a ‘very good job’. I then talked to the owner (Jerilyn), she offered me an appointment to try to fix my hair but it was with a newer stylist and I feel that my hair requires more experience to correct it. Not to mention coming back for a subsequent appointment is my time, and at a rate of $245, I should not have to come back and have more processing done to my hair. I then asked for a refund and was told Prim does not offer refunds and they stand behind their quality. This was my first and last experience at Prim as I will not return for any future services.
I have been going to Prim for the last few years, and Kristi has truly transformed my hair! I am a blonde, and have never had such healthy hair in my life. The staff are incredibly knowledgeable, and always staying current on the newest methods and treatments. The atmosphere in the salon truly feels high end and relaxing (makes you feel like you’re not in Lethbridge, AB!!) most recently, Kristi styled my hair for my wedding day and I could not have been happier. Prim- you guys are simply the best!!
Called to cancel my appointment because I was really sick, and instead of understanding, I got a lecture about how irresponsible I was and how someone came in just for me. I get policies, but shaming people for being unwell? Not professional, not kind. Won’t be back. I had to cancel last minute due to being genuinely sick, and instead of basic understanding, I was met with a guilt trip. The follow-up response even disclosed that it was a Botox appointment — super unprofessional. Maybe focus more on training your staff in respectful communication and client privacy.
I always get my pedicure done by Shelby and she is amazing! So gentle and considerate, and the gel polish lasts forever which is a bonus! Highly recommend!
I would never ever recommend this salon for hair appointments! My daughter, granddaughter and myself had hair appointments for August 3 for my son’s wedding! It took 2 hairstylists to even make my hair look decent just for style and set appointment! Worst hair set I have ever had in my life! I showed many pictures and explained several times what I wanted! It was very simple! I left the hair salon at 11:00 and by the time the wedding ceremony was over which was at 2:00…The little bit of styling had fallen out! My daughter’s hair looked like she had a box head! And my granddaughter’s hair did not last for the whole day either!!! We will never recommend the salon to anyone and we will not EVER be back!!! Basically I should not have paid for any of those appointments! A very frustrating experience! When the first girl attempted to style my hair! I told her I will not be leaving the hair salon looking like this for my son’s wedding! So she went and got another stylist and she was not much better! I feel I need to be reimbursed for these appointments as the stylists DID NOT make us feel good or us happy!
Prim is the absolute best place to get your hair done. I've met with Josie twice now (would have been more if not for COVID), and she is just incredible. The salon is clean, the atmosphere is beyond fantastic, and all the stylists, and staff, seem to be excited that you're there. I had teeth whitening done about a year ago, also. Every time I walk in there, I'm treated like family. Now I'm checking out other services, so I can keep throwing my money at them! Thank you, Josie!!!!!!!!!!!
