I recently came here with my Mom and Sister for a Spa day and the entire experience was excellent. Everyone was so welcoming and constantly checking in to see if we needed anything, water, tea etc. We were able to use the pool, hot tub and saunas prior to treatments which we really enjoyed. The change room is large with towels at the ready and we were provided with robes, slippers, and a key for the lockers. Brooklyn was my therapist, my facial and pedicure were incredible. The beds for facials/massage are so comfy with the cosiest blankets, and the chairs for the pedicure fully recline, so so comfortable. We also had lunch between treatments, I was surprised we were able to choose from several options for our included 'light lunch'. The salad with candied walnuts was super fresh and delicious. Highly recommend the Spa at the Grand.
The good...Amazing rooftop pool and hotubs with views of lake!! Suite was large and well equipped with everything needed. Our balcony overlooking the small cove with restaurant below. We also loved the complimentary bikes. Staff was wonderful at attending to our needs and making sure we were taken care of promptly. The bad....Our room had not been cleaned properly as there was tons cobwebs all over the windows in the bedroom, a lightbulb was burnt out in kitchen and they had to come fix the TV and Fireplace. The central A/C rattled soo loudly in the second bathroom it was difficult to sleep. Also, you could hear the music and people at the restaurant until after midnight every night. Room was not adequately sound proofed. Could also hear people above a little bit. No housekeeping staff either to clean out room and make the bed if we would have liked. The pool bar was not open either. I would consider staying there again we can get better room.
I'm going to give this spa a 5/5 stars my partner and I went for a 4 hour spa service called "the two of us" for my birthday. It was great the massage was amazing, facial was great I fell asleep, we got pedicures, lunch included, and a couple of added drinks at a reasonable cost. My partner was equally as impressed with his experience he said he almost fell asleep at each station. The only hick-up was when we finished the massage because the massages are separate I got taken to the Sauna and he got taken to the lounge of the spa for our lunch (left at separate times so we missed each other). By the time I had enough of the sauna and went to look for him the he was finished eating and my food was cold. That was honestly the only hick-up, all of the girls were great, they made us feel relaxed and welcomed.
Great services - their tech really pay attention to details. I received a 90 min facial + hands and lips treatment as well as a 60 mins massage. All were wonderful. My only complaint would be that they share their locker area with the hotel pool guests. It doesn't feel like a spa in that area... No toiletries products, no attendant cleaning this up, etc.The showers are like gym showers. They have their own resting area with different fruit waters, tea and coffee but you have to walk in your robe and slippers across the pool area to get to it. They can accommodate with a good and drink menu and order for you to have once your services are completed.
Perfect! We’re staying at the hotel for my husbands conference so I decided to use my spare time for a massage. It was a 45 min relaxation massage with Courtney. I explained my issues with my neck and shoulders and they were certainly addressed! It was so amazing! The pressure was perfect, the experience fantastic. The rest of the staff were also friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this spa!!
My mom and I were there to celebrate a birthday; the treatments (massage, facial and pedicure) were all great. We were both made to feel special the whole time we were there - greeted warmly when we arrived a bit early and then as we left a few hours later (feeling very relaxed)... when I went to get the car, Jamie escorted my mom to the lobby. The facility was very comfortable, clean, quiet and restful. I highly recommend this spa.
My husband and I went there for the Couples Special 4 hour Spa Package which included a couples massage, pedicures, facials and also included an awesome lunch. The staff that worked there was awesome, welcoming and very professional. However, the atmosphere of the Spa itself left a lot to be desired and there for I will not be going there again. The facilities were outdated and cramped. The noise from the pool with screaming kids was intrusive while getting our pedicures done and you could also hear the receptionist talking on the phone the whole time. The room where we ate our lunch was the waiting room which was full of people coming and going and crowded and most defiantly not relaxing to say the least. The worst part of all was you had to share the only cramped for space change room in the spa for both men and woman that held one shower and one toilet, so if its privacy and "ZEN LIKE" atmosphere you want, don't go here..... forget it!
We had the best couples massage of our lives at this lovely spa. A beautiful atmosphere, with masseuses that knew what they were doing. Loved having access to the indoor and outdoor pool facilities after our massage! Highly recommended.
