"Just a heads up, lots of detail and commentary to follow...long story short your body will thank you for getting treatment here!! There are message therapists, then there are therapists who's craft is massage. I cannot speak highly enough about the level of skill, knowledge and professionalism Maggy employs prior to, during, and following an appointment. She is one of the most talented and skilled massage therapists I have ever sought treatment from. I was first referred to her by an incredible physiotherapist of mine (Isabelle Aube), so when the referral comes from someone within that realm and with that level of professional expertise, I knew to expect good things. Even with that, Maggy blew away those expectations. I will forewarn that because of this, it is a bit tough to get in to see her...but if you're organized and can get yourself booked in well in advance, you will not regret it! If you're not, or are on a tighter timeline (injury or acute issue) Maggy does have a cancellation list, but also has assembled a team of incredible therapists within her practice. I come from a sports background and have a very physically demanding job, so am not a stranger to and am slowly accumulating more "nagging" issues. When working with any of the therapists I have seen at Ashby House, they are in tune with your background, circumstances and goals, and use a holistic approach to not only deal with the acute issue(s) at hand, but also can help provide direction for mitigating or decreasing reoccurrence and improving baselines. I think it's clear that I'm a fan, but don't take my word for it...try for yourself, and enjoy."
