Went in for a TRIM and stated 4 times before it began that I was growing my hair in length and was just in to dust the dead ends and extra weight. The stylist completely chopped my hair off (she easily took 5 inches off). I now have a hideous shag (to be clear, I didn't walk in with a shag!!!) To say I was shocked would be an understatement. I called the owner the next day for a refund, and said she'd give me my money back plus a free cut at another salon with a master stylist that she knew to help me as I grow out the awkward cut. I had to call HER back for the refund after I didn't hear back from her in 2 days after our initial call - it seemed that she felt there was no sense of urgency in the matter. She gave me the refund and said she was seeing her friend the following week to discuss the free cut, which is when I realized she was only offering this free cut to me if her friend would do it as a favour (aka as long as she didn't have to pay for it out of pocket). It's been two weeks and no word from her. It's clear to me now that the owner doesn't care that her stylist botched my hair and took something from me that will take a year or MORE to regrow (realistically, probably more). If you care about your hair at all, stay far away from this salon. If you want to deal with fair business owners, then stay away from this salon for ANY service.

I am very disappointed with my recent attempt at using the services here at Barbibelle Spa. I booked two months in advance for my daughter to have her hair and makeup done for her PROM. I tried calling the morning of the appointment to re confirm and make sure everything was good, 3 times and left a voicemail. After 2 hours and no response I showed up there in person to confirm. The secretary looked confused and unsure. She told me the makeup artist has been sick for days but asked to excuse her while she went and called her to confirm if she was coming in. She goes in the back and then comes back to tell me that the makeup artist is sick till beginning of July!? Then proceeds to ask me if anyone has called me to let me know? Clearly not. Very unprofessional and left us stressed and scrambling to find a last minute make up artist just hours before my daughters PROM! We came to find out that we were not alone in this situation, there was a few other of my daughters classmates that had the same thing happen to them that day! Prom day is a huge day for these girls and this place could care less. Not a care in the world from that receptionist! Very upsetting and I will never call this place for another service and I will make sure to share this with others because it is unacceptable! ????

Appointment for my daughter’s makeup for Prom was canceled but nobody bothered to call us to let us know. I had 1 hour to find someone to do her makeup. A day that should of been excited fir her ended up being really stressful. They also charge me $125 for her hair which she straightened and added bobby pins on the side. The stylist said it was the charge for an updo. Clearly not the same thing at all. I sent an email to the owner and never got a response. Will not be going back.

I have been lucky enough to have Veronique micro blade my eyebrows. I first saw her in the late summer for a free consultation in which I shared my own make up preferences and ideal final outcome for micro bladed eyebrows. During our first appointment, Veronique was incredibly meticulous in her preparation work of measuring and drawing and asked for my own feedback as we went. I have just come back from my first touch-up appointment and am really pleased with the final result. Veronique made a few adjustments to the colour and again showed amazing attention to detail. I cannot recommend her enough-micro-blading is a big investment and finding the right artist is crucial. Veronique asks about lifestyle, preferences etc so that she is able to provide an end result that looks incredible and very natural. She's amazing :)

My hairdresser (Laurie) is fabulous and creative and I lovey hair every time. This last one is my favorite. For her I give 5⭐. But the beauticians need work. They cancel often, rebook and keep you waiting because they forgot and at best are overbooked but the newest girl Janeth is great at waxing but poor at customer service. She get 2.5⭐ as I am trying to find somewhere else to go.

If I could give this salon a negative 10, I would. I went here for a massage when I was pregnant and was really excited to go back. Called 10 times no response. We even called to try and book my daughters hair cuts and even left voicemails. I always give people chances so we tried again.. Left voicemails no call backs, finally by luck someone called back and we booked a massage one for me and one for my husband. I show up 25 min before and i decided to sit outside on the step since the door was locked. 15 min before my appointment i tried knocking to no response, i tried calling nothing. I waited until 15 minutes after my appointment until i saw another customer leaving and the hair stylist said she would go and check for me. She comes out and tells me, can you wait another 15 minutes because we tried calling you and no one answered... the audacity to tell me this when i was outside for 25 minutes waiting... I told her that I got no calls and id like to know who called me because i was outside in front of the door. It's one thing to come and tell me "I am sorry we are running late today do you mind waiting?" , I would have waited no problem, but to lie and say someone tried calling? I left and canceled my husbands appointment. It's crazy that they "tried calling" but didn't bother to come to the door where I waited for 30 minutes... at this point its just a matter of principle, disgusting service. DON'T waste your time.

This establishment is very well decorated and maintained. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. I had an idea of something I had liked and she did exactly what I asked. The nails were perfect shape and form. Overall very impressed with my first appointment, will definitely be coming back in the future!!!

I have no idea why there are so many good reviews about this place. I went with my sister to get the evo nails. We were told the nails would last 3 weeks. They started to peel off two days later. Mine were so horrendous; thick and clunky and the color was uneven. What a waste of money! On top of all that the place is so uncomfortable and dirty! It looks like it’s falling apart. Save ur money. Go somewhere else!
