Although I did want a firm massage, I did not want to end up with multiple bruises all over my body! I thought it hurt because it was acupressure and that’s normal. I can take a lot of pressure and I want a therapeutic massage. Also the very nice lady led me to believe there were toxins in the areas where it hurt most and I thought that was beneficial and it would help me, so I endured it. Maybe it did? Maybe it didn’t! Either way, I’m still in pain from the massage and I can’t wear a short-sleeved shirt for a while or people will wonder!! Looks like I took a blow to the arm! Another thing to note: if you want a pedicure and think they offer pedicures here, they don’t! I thought I booked one and it’s confirmed on the picture with this review. And I do not recommend the salon a few doors over either, terrible, expensive and not done by a professional at all.
I had a deep tissue massage, but the massage therapist scratched my back with their nails. When I told them it hurt, they yelled at me in Chinese and dismissed my complaint, insisting that their nails weren’t long enough to cause scratches. In the end, I was left with scratch marks on my back and bruises on my legs. The pressure was too strong, and when I said it was painful, they responded with something I couldn’t understand. This was the worst massage experience of my life. I absolutely do not recommend this place. Even if other places are more expensive, it’s better to go elsewhere.
Lin did a fantastic job on my feet and calves. I play tennis almost daily and my muscles are very tight. Everything feels much more relaxed after my 50 minute treatment. Would highly recommend.
I used to like this place and could give the foot massage 4/5. However, my last couple of experiences have been bad. Towels: Towels are way over used and out dated. Bad hygiene: Last time, a couple of employees had flu, and one of them sneezed into his hand and continued to massage me, this was outright unacceptable practice. Training: the routine they follow sometime doesn't match the massage you get on right foot is completely different from the one on left foot. I don't not recommend the body massages as they tend to be painful
This place is a hidden gem! The staff are incredibly skilled and provide an authentic acupressure massage experience, just like the ones I used to get in Hong Kong. The pressure points they hit are spot on, leaving me feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. It's not just a massage, it's like they're getting my "chi" moving again. The prices are excellent for the quality of massage you receive. I make it a point to come here at least once a month – it's my favourite way to de-stress and recharge. Highly recommend!
I am so glad to find this place because I had a suddenly surge of back pain and required massage as soon as possible. Big Feet managed to get me a session within 2 or 3 days and that made a world of difference. Kudos to Tony, the dude who was with me in my three sessions I have here so far. The treatment I get can be summed up as putting a lot of pressure and pounding on certain spots on par with the principles of acupuncture. See you guys soon.
Surprisingly nice! I picked this place to bring my mother to for Family day and it was a nice experience. The people were very polite and quite hardworking. They also had a nice atmosphere which made our experience more enjoyable.
First time at Big Feet. One thing of note: if the technician doesn’t understand English a misunderstanding can happen with extra charges you weren’t expecting regarding additional time. Feet and leg massage was good.
