As always, whenever I enter the salon I am greeted warmly and offered something to drink. The smiles and overall feeling of being welcomed makes the experience so comfortable. Camille is always smiling & friendly. She asks questions about how I am; what I want done; she listens to me and any concerns I may have and offers suggestions. It's always a pleasure to see her and I would recommend her along with the salon for all your needs!

Late post from February. But Camielle was absolutely fantastic at balayage, cutting, and styling my curly hair! She went above and beyond and made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire process. I was beyond grateful. Her good natured style and genuineness is exemplified in her work and interactions. I would highly recommend her without reservation!!

I had a lovely experience at Essence! I came in with choppy, uneven layers I had cut myself, and Kevin really took his time to assess my hair and address my concerns. He gave me a thorough tour of the salon as well, explaining all the products he was using and patiently answering any questions. I felt the price was very reasonable for the care you receive here! All the other staff also seemed so warm and kind. I left with my hair cut beautifully, and I'm looking forward to returning! Thank you!

Absolutely one of the best all-inclusive salons in London, Ontario region! I had their facial and head spa experience with Breanna and I felt like a new woman when I left. HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend booking an appointment! Very friendly staff, very accommodating, clean, modern salon. I can't say enough good things about it!

I had Emma for my service and it was perfect. She took the time to go through everything with me and ask me questions about what I was looking for before starting. The atmosphere is lovely and calming and everyone is so friendly and kind. Emma did a great job at making me feel relaxed and I feel well taken care of after my visit. My hair feels amazing after my appointment.

I came in a couple days ago looking to get my bangs cut, but after speaking to Kevin he knew I wasn’t sure of what I wanted and instead used the time to show me around and talk to me to understand more of what I wanted. He rebooked me to come in two days later and spent so much time listening to me to make sure he understood exactly what I wanted. I trusted his recommendations and my hair turned out amazing. He explained every product he was using and every technique and even took the time to teach me how to achieve what I want at home. He was so friendly and funny and made my first experience at this salon a 10/10. If you want to feel heard and understood I cannot recommend him enough. Thank you Kevin!!!❤️ wood soup for you!

I won't lie it has taken me a long time to write this review because I don't usually like posting about poor experiences, I dont like making people feel bad, but I think it is important to mention how this experience made me feel. I came here for my first haircut after restrictions were lifted and things had settled. It was also the first time I had my hair really long since being a child so this gave me a lot of confidence and I was very much looking forward to this haircut. I asked for some layers and some edgy/textured bangs. I showed pictures etc. The hair dresser flat out said she wouldn't do it because "I would hate her." This gave me instant anxiety and didn't know how to respond. I asked again for bangs and was told she would give me "curtain" bangs. I kid you not she took 2 pencil side chunks of hair and cut them to just above chin height and that was my "bangs" no layering or dimension to blend them in. I felt like I was taking to much of her time and there was already a lady waiting for her to finish with me. I literally cried almost my whole drive home and lost all confidence in my hair. I know this is partially my fault for not speaking up, but I also feel like her response of "you'll hate me" just put me in a very awkward situation. Needless to say I haven't been for a haircut since. They are nice people and they place is very clean but if ever go back I will not be going to the same lady.
