I was very disappointed with the outcome of my hair. I had asked for a platinum balayage, and got nothing close to it. The staff was nice until I said that I did not like it. Throughout the process, I noticed that Taylor, the hair stylist, didn’t bleach the mid-ends of my hair, and I brought that up and she was like I will put a lightning conditioner which will bring it up by a level, at the end my hair was still a very warm tone and that was because she didn’t lift it at all. Because of this, I was like can you add in some bleach to lift the colour more and Taylor really said to me “Oh, like you can’t live with it” and that other people can’t tell yet EVERYONE around me did end up noticing the rough work. I will acknowledge that she didn’t put the bleach at the end, but she put a toner, and I genuinely didn’t notice a difference with the toner, and when I said that I didn’t notice it, she got defensive and said “Well, I do”. These side comments were just completely rude and unprofessional. I ended up going to another salon and got it completely redone. Very very upset with this Salon, I do not recommend this place to anyone. She still did charge me and I can’t believe she left me leaving the salon looking like that, I just can’t believe I also ended up tipping her, instant regret. Also, she did take before and after pictures of my hair, and didn’t end up posting because I am sure she knows that its UGLY. First pic is what I asked for, and second is what I got. Looks so similar to the before pic of what I asked for...

My daughter and I have been coming here for about four years for mani pedis. All staff is fantastic. My daughter is special needs and their care for her has always been exceptional. They are patient, kind and tolerant of her occasional singing along with music from her ipod for which I'm forever grateful.

I had an eminence 60-minute facial with Larissa last Friday and I give my experience at this salon a 5! The staff are welcoming, the spa itself is so cute and cozy. I found the price and value of the service wonderful! I did some research around town before booking, Just US Boutique was the only one that offered a fair price, plus 15% off eminence products, so they totally won my business with that alone. Larissa’s service was so well done and relaxing and she took the time to help me pick products. Before checking out one of the staff members (sorry I didn’t catch her name!) took the time to go over more products with me, and was attentive, kind and honest about what to start with, and gave me some amazing samples I am loving! I will recommend this salon to other in the Oshawa area! I can’t wait to visit again soon.

I have been going to Just Us for hair services for 15 yrs Staff are all welcoming, helpful and professional. My hair stylist is very talented with her craft. She has an artistic eye and understands what will work for your hair type . I appreciate her expertise! Excellent salon ????

Went a couple of months ago to get my hair done by Shelby, my natural colour is a dirty blonde/light ashy brown. I told her I didn’t want an all over colour, I just wanted to break up the contrast between my lighter roots and darker (outgrown) hair. She suggested a blonde balayage and said that it would help to make it less noticeable. My hair looked just like it had a few blonde highlights when I left, she had curled it and styled it so it looked fine, very very small different but it looked alright. I left the curls in for the next day and then the day after when the curls were gone I noticed how splotchy the highlights were, and they only went to where my roots started so it just looked like I had brown hair with blonde highlights that had grown out. I did cal back to book an appointment but couldn’t afford nor did I want to go back to that place. That was in July, and I’ve just been to see another stylist who can’t believe I spent $120 for someone to add what looks like grown out, orangey highlights. It definitely looks 100000x worse than it did, and my new stylist said that it’s in no way a balayage and that she just through in highlights. I should’ve just gone back to get some money back so it’s my own fault for not trying that, but the lady on the phone said it would have to be the same girl to fix it and I didn’t want that so I cut my losses. I’ve added a photo of how my hair looked when I left. I’ve shown this to my new stylist who says this is NOT balayage. Also a photo of my hair this morning - as you can see the blonde highlights are like halfway down my head - definitely not from 2 months of hair growth, it has grown out a bit, but it was very far down from day one.

I have been coming to Just Us Salon and Spa for years and I always have a wonderful experience every time I visit! The team are all talented, friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere is calm, relaxing and inviting. I recently started bringing my daughter to the salon for her haircuts and she is always treated with the same level of pampering and care. I wouldn’t go anywhere else!

I have never had such an amazing experience in a salon before! Not only was I offered a complimentary drink upon entering but they had an actual MENU consisting of a mix of both herbal and caffeine infused teas. Free chocolates and even an ALL NATURAL SOAP BAR on the house ! The atmosphere the salon gives is extremely clean, cozy and calming. Upon not only amazing pricing , but the most amazing service. The beauty industry is huge and costly ! Kelly made me feel at ease but most importantly, I walked in ( zero knowledge) asking for much more and Kelly could have simply given me that. I would have left upset and feeling “ fake” but she would have made more money. Instead , Kelly couldn’t care less about the income and more about me being educated on filler and feeling confident, happy and just tiny little changes really make such a difference. I am beyond happy and thankful for the services provided. I will be back again and again and again!!!

My daughter and I both love our visits to Just Us. It's a very comfortable salon to hang out in and I love looking at all the products they carry in the waiting area. The home made soap is my favourite! My daughter loves to play with colour in her hair and she's never disappointed :)
