I booked a spa day that included a body scrub, Swedish massage, and a facial and I followed it up with a pedicure. Jaclyn was the one who did my scrub, massage, and facial. She was so sweet and made sure to check in with me along the way to make sure I was doing okay. Helen then completed my time at the spa with a shellac pedicure. She was so friendly and funny. I thoroughly enjoyed my time and can't wait to return. I even sent the website link to my friends. Thank you, La Belle for making my 40th birthday nice and relaxing!
I had a great experience during my first visit with Izabela, so I was really looking forward to coming back. Unfortunately, my second visit was quite disappointing. From the moment I walked in, I felt unwelcome—there was no greeting, no acknowledgment, not even a simple “hello” or “do you have an appointment with us?” That initial coldness set the tone for the rest of the visit. The interactions that followed felt rushed and dismissive, almost as if I was a burden rather than a valued client. Edit as I can’t reply: Hi Alina, Thank you for taking the time to respond. I appreciate your perspective, and I’m sorry there was any confusion or misunderstanding. From my point of view, I didn’t feel welcomed when I arrived, which was disappointing given how positive my first experience had been. If you did greet me, I apologize for missing it — I truly didn’t hear it or feel acknowledged at the time, which is why I felt unwelcome. Regarding the service, I understand now that the shellac removal I was looking for isn’t something you offer. I wasn’t aware of that when I booked the shellac removal manicure on your website, and it certainly wasn’t my intention to waste anyone’s time. I would have appreciated a bit more patience or kindness in how that was communicated, as the exchange felt quite tense from my perspective. My review wasn’t meant to be rude — it was just an honest reflection of how I felt during my visit. I’m sharing this in hopes it provides some insight, not to attack your business. Best, Abigail
I had the most relaxing experience at La Belle Maison. The environment is calming as soon as you walk through the door, the massage room which was quiet, dim, and had relaxing music playing and the massage itself was 10/10. I left feeling amazing and very relaxed! I would recommend this spa to any one I know!
I booked a spa package including a full body exfoliation, classic Swedish body massage and a customized Eminence facial as a treat for myself for my birthday ($260). All treatments were completed by Alina (the owner) Everything was excellent. From the warm cozy room and massage bed to the pressure of her massage. I typically go really firm, but found myself more sensitive to pressure today and Alina was receptive to feedback and adjusted her treatment to my comfort. The facial was custom and as I didn't really know what I would benefit from specifically, we chatted about it and Alina suggested products that would suit me best. She was right and this was the best facial I have ever had. She also offered some guidance on my best features and answered questions regarding care of areas I was worried about. I also purchased a few products afterward because I enjoyed how they made me feel. On a personal note, I am extremely self-conscious about my body and my weight. I enjoy spa treatments but always feel uncomfortable being exposed to people, even professionals who likely don't care. Alina creates a truly safe and comfortable environment that allowed me to let go of those feelings and just enjoy the treatments. For that reason as well as the quality of her treatments, I'm already plotting my next booking.
I had planned to go to another salon for microblading, but chose La Belle Maison because of a recommendation from someone I knew. I showed Alina what I wanted, but she wanted to do a "more natural" look. She assured me that we could always add more at a later date and that she would ensure I was happy with the results. I was not happy with the results after my first two appointments, as it didn't seen to "take" in some spots and wasn't the look I was going for. She had me come in for a third appointment, where she tried tattooing. This gave me more of the look that I had originally inquired about. She told me to give it at least 6 months before coming back (if necessary) and assured me again that she would make sure I was happy. In that time, I moved out of town, so returning to the spa was challenging. I checked her availability every time I came to town and did contact her to schedule an appointment, but she was away at that time. She also said that she may have to charge me more, since tattooing costs more than microblading (even though that was what I originally asked for). When I contacted her again to let her know that I still intended to come in to get them fixed and asked about her availability, she said it had been too long since my initial appointment and that she had already done an additional touch-up. Despite assuring me that she'd make sure I was happy, I now have to pay more to have it remedied at a different salon. I asked for a partial refund to compensate for that (and because I was unhappy with what I paid for) and she was very rude to me.
Terrible shellac manicure pedicure job. Shellac started flaking off within only 1 week, the shellac job was smudged same day, really bad job overall - would NOT recommend. It also cost almost double the price of any other nail place in Abbotsford - SO BAD. Kya Nails does excellent shellac jobs that last about 4 weeks!
Thank you, Tarah, for such a wonderful experience. The facial and scalp massage you gave me were amazing. Easily the most relaxing part of my week. I'll be back for sure!
Basic spa services with high end prices. Not worth it. Basic non therapeutic massage, followed by a mini facial which was more like having my face washed with two steps of cleansing and exfoliating and it was done, on top of that paid $30 for an eye lash tint which made no difference at all, don’t waste your time or money here.
