"We were celebrating my Mom's birthday with a day at the spa. We booked the Ocean Mist facials. All three of us walked out of our treatments feeling like we spent an hour in heaven. We then went to the hot pools to relax further and admire the panoramic view. The staff were nothing short of incredible and the experience was what dreams are made of. Awesome spa and incredible team."

"Boathouse Spa is by far my favourite spa on Vancouver Island! It’s located right on the ocean in the BEST hotel ever, the Oak Bay Beach Hotel. Boathouse offers exclusive evening Pool Passes for guests between 5:00-10:00 pm every so often. They go quick so follow on Facebook/Instagram for the best availability. The staff make you feel so special right from the moment you walk through the door. You’re greeted with a friendly, warm smile and graciously shown the locker room where they’ll supply luxurious robes, sandals and fluffy towels. They have a licensed bar on site and offer takeaway food from the “Snug Pub” (hotel restaurant). There are 2 hot tubs, 1 extra large (warm) pool, lots of nice loungers, fire pits, sun umbrellas and an indoor sauna. It really is a paradise! You just kind of melt away listening to the ocean waves crash and the birds chirping. They also have a full spa menu - book in early to reserve a good spot. Free hotel underground parking too! Do yourself a favour and check this place out! It’s worth it every penny!"

"My daughter recently booked us an overnight stay, massage, facials, and a lovely birthday dinner for me at the Oak Bay Beach Hotel. From the moment we arrived the service was fantastic. In particular, our spa treatments were a real treat. Carmen gave a wonderful full body massage followed by a rejuvenating facial. I had recently had wrist surgery and she carefully accommodated the tricky positioning of elevating my arm, so I could relax and enjoy the treatment. We will certainly return to this beautiful hotel."

"On a very blustery day my friends and I had a wonderful spa day! The winds were high and the ocean waves were crashing along the shoreline. It made our time in the mineral pools exciting! The staff were hustling about and checked in to ensure we were happy. After that we treated ourselves to massages. Wonderful! Relaxing! We felt the positive effects for days afterwards. We will return!"

"I was taking videos of myself at the pool then some Karens told the staff they don’t want to be in my pictures. The staff nicely took me to the seaside to take picture of me so no one else was in the picture. I appreciate that the staff try to make both sides happy. However, it’s a crowded spa and it’s not against policy that I was taking pics of the pool. Next time, people should have the basic freedom to take pictures of themselves. If bitter Karens afraid they appear in others photos, it’s their problem. It does not feel good as a single colored woman being targeted by a group of white women. Overall it was a great experience. Beautiful seaside, met a newly engaged couple, and the massage was professional. Love it!"

"I so enjoyed my quicky little getaway so close to home!. As i arrived at the hotel I was greeted by such a happy and courteous valet which got my day off to a lovely start. As i made my way to the spa, i thought to my-self, that’s going to be my next job ;) The reception at the spa was so warm and professional and welcoming made me think surely, it’s a lifestyle for them … Sheila gave me an amazing massage and hot oil hair treatment and the mineral pool time and hot tub was absolutely divine. The spa lounge provides healthy refreshments and snacks mint and cozy chairs to sit and relax as you lookout onto the pool area. I’m living the dream here in my new “Home Sweet Home”"

"I had an amazing experience at the Oak Bay Boathouse spa! I've been there several times now, and each visit has been fantastic. The staff is incredibly kind and friendly, and I want to give a special shoutout to Carlos for his fun-loving sense of humor. The front desk staff were also very welcoming and made me feel right at home. The massages I received were absolutely wonderful. The therapists were skilled and attentive, providing a truly relaxing experience. As for the pool, it was kept in great shape. The water was lovely, and the overall ambiance was very peaceful. I will be back for future treatments and pool time and highly recommend trying it out if you haven’t yet!"

"There are a few positive points about this health centre. It was fast to book for an appointment on the same day. The interior looks nicer (decorative items) The rooms & chairs are old. But that was fine because the therapist has mad skill. She worked so hard on my body, maybe a little too hard, but I like it rough ???? I booked a longer massage session and therapist was honest in showing me time start go finish. She was very nice as well, despite the language barrier. The front desk person, I had mixed emotions. She was dismissive in the end, I paid for tips (20$) and she didn’t even say thanks or look up!!! But I think it’s common nowadays. People say front desk are always rude everywhere, every kind of business. Maybe it’s just the trend. The massage is killin’ though. You should try. It looks modest outside and inside on some part of this health centre, but the most important part is the masseuse’s art."
