"As a Google Local Guide and someone who values supporting local and women-owned businesses in Manitoba, I’m deeply disappointed by my recent experience at Spa Botanica. From the moment I walked in, the welcome was cold and uninviting. No smile, no warmth, no effort to make a guest feel comfortable—definitely not what you'd expect from a spa promising premium services. I booked a treatment expecting relaxation and professional care, but the total time was not respected, and a portion of the service I paid for was simply skipped. To add to the frustration, I had to clean my face after a cleansing session—which makes me question the purpose of the service itself. If the basics of a facial aren’t fully delivered, what’s the added value? I enjoy treating myself and don’t mind paying for quality, but this experience was far from it. It felt rushed, impersonal, and well below any reasonable standard for spa care. I’ve been here before and had a much better experience with Misty, but this visit was a complete letdown. Sadly, I will not be returning. My honest advice: - If you're looking for a proper pedicure, go to a dedicated pedicure specialist. - If you need skincare, book with a certified esthetician. - Avoid Spa Botanica if you're expecting a complete or professional spa experience. While the concept of bringing multiple services together under one roof may sound appealing, in reality, they failed to deliver quality or consistency. Some local businesses wisely offer different pricing tiers based on associate experience—a model Spa Botanica should seriously consider adopting. Customers deserve to know what they’re paying for—and get treated accordingly. No one should pay premium prices and walk out feeling shortchanged. Think twice before booking here !"

"I have been visiting this clinic for massages every 3–4 months, and I want to highlight that Jackson (Xiangdong) Li is truly outstanding. He is professional, highly skilled, and clearly passionate about his work. Every session with him has been excellent. However, I did want to share a few concerns from my last visit in early April. I decided to try a different therapist (female) and was placed in another room. Unfortunately, the floor was noticeably dirty, and there was an unpleasant smell from the headrest cover, it felt like the linen hadn’t been changed in a while. Additionally, I experienced an issue at reception. I had recently updated my insurance provider and added all the necessary details on the clinic’s website ahead of time. Despite that, I was told at reception that my insurance was not accepted, and I had to pay out of pocket. After checking again at home, I found that my new insurance provider is listed for direct billing on your website, so it seems there was some confusion."

"Had a massage here with Dan, and it was amazing! I specifically booked with him as his bio stated he specializes in headache and migraine treatments. I have been to many RMT’s and none of them have ever used the techniques that he did on my neck and shoulders! I left feeling so much less tension and much more relaxed! He was able to find and work on the problematic areas in such a way that it was not painful and didn’t cause me to tense up as I often do when those areas are being worked on. Will definitely be back!"

But on the other side, we came mid day on a Sunday and booked a 75 minutes massage for 2, it was great until we had to stop our session due to extreme noise, banging on walls, cleaners who are moping, swiping and banging on the doors. Also we heard a male voice- I have to assume it is another staff member because he was gridding clients so loudly. It was going for 30 minuets at lease! This is the last thing you want to hear when you pay 250$ to relax, and let me tell you, relaxing it was not. Please do better, first imprecation was bad."
