"Recently I got the pleasure of having a massage at Damara Day Spa. I must share, that instantly on my arrival, I was made to feel welcomed and special. I received my relaxation massage from Carmen. She was professional, kind and gave the most wonderful massage I've experienced in a long time. Don't let her size fool you, ' Mighty Mouse '.....she pressed deeply where she needed to and was so gentle as well. The ambiance of the spa was relaxing and inviting. I'd recommend you try it out yourself!!!"

"While vacationing at the Delta Grand Okanagan Resort in Kelowna I visited their wonderful Damara Day Spa. I travel frequently and avail myself to spa treatments, particularly massage. The experience was outstanding. The massage from Mackenzie was tailored to my particular needs, back and hip issues along with soothing essential oils. I enjoyed this service twice during my stay and highly recommend! A big thank you to the staff at Damara!"

"Overpriced manicure and pedicures for the actual services rendered. Rooms were tiny and extremely basic, didn’t offer pedicure chairs, only reclining lounge chairs with stainless bowls for the foot soak. Highest level pedicure didn’t offer much in terms of a scrub or massage, and the bottoms of my feet are still rough. My manicure has tiny bubbles in it, and is just okay. The staff/technicians were very friendly to me and my little girls but I’ve had much better manicures and pedicures at other places for half the price. Would not go back and would not recommend."

"My fiancée and I decided to do a staycation this Winter. We did brunch at the Oak and Cru, which was delicious. He had the breakfast buffet which was quite reasonable for a buffet. Because we booked an appointment at the spa, we got to go to the hot tub and pool for free. We went to the spa early and they let us in through the side door. Very cool. I loved the indoor to outdoor pool and there was an outdoor hot tub as well, which looked out onto the boardwalk by the lake. Lovely location. We booked the couples romantic package and it was sooo relaxing. I apparently fell asleep, haha! We started with an exfoliation and then showered off. Then we had a full body massage (that’s when I fell asleep). Then we added on a body wrap. I was hoping it would be like leaves and lotions etc. Instead it was this interesting wrap that was thick but reminded me of those safety blankets in car kits (think thick tin toil). I don’t recommend that wrap, but the treatment was amazing. Overall such an amazing couple experience. Highly recommend."

"After trialing many local RMTs here in Kelowna, I finally discovered Catherine and her business, Calla Wellness. As a shift worker, I lean towards relaxation-focused treatments, and after one session with Catherine, I was sold. I now see her on a weekly basis and her treatments have become an integral part of my self-care routine. I rely on our time together to unwind and decompress. Often, I will see Catherine before/after working night shifts which allows me to reset and transition back into a balanced sleep schedule. She is incredibly methodical and intentional with her work, effortlessly creating a calming atmosphere while still targeting any areas of tension and discomfort. I leave each appointment feeling like I am floating on a cloud - both mentally and physically rejuvenated. Our sessions are what I look forward to most each week. I truly cannot recommend her services enough. Bonus! She will book me in advance at the end of each appointment and does direct billing!"

"I went for Deep Tissue and Foot Massage combo, Susan and Sa, both are gifted. Both of them know well how to realign the body, rid of pain and bring it back to health. The journey is not easy, Susan works too deep, and do not stop at you feeling pain, because, her focus is on healing you. So one who has good Pain Tolerance, and tolerate Soreness after the session for a day or two, Susan is a go to. Sa, is also professional, and have excellent knowledge of body and how to work to regain health, she asks, how much pressure one needs, and accordingly does a wonderful job. I found this Massage center to be a boon, and best part closest to my house. Thr atmosphere is good, well set, beds are clean, sheets are changed. Zero Complaints here. Kudos to the massagers working here. I am going for couples massage next and then do monthly Thai Massage. If you talk, they talk and do have a good conversation. Love the way they all work so hard. Honestly, for me important is how good the massage is, and does the massage therapist have the knowledge, I was satisfied by both. The bed was clean and for me that's all that matters. Room size, decor is something I do not bother myself with much. Keep it up all."

"1 star is for the therapist who work so hard, and always delivers excellent service. However, this place looks like a dump, the beds are old, hard, and squeaky. It has nothing close to spa ambiance, you can tell it needs a deep cleaning, and I never saw the therapist change the bed lining before sending another client inside the room when I was done. These people also donot cultivate relationships with their returning clients, I’ve been there several times and I’m always treated like a new customer. There’s better out there for my money I’m sure."

"Recommend the RMT massage by Minna. Most RMT's do a targeted massage of the affected area only, but Minna was professional and kind enough do a full body massage in addition to the pain points. The tension in my neck/shoulder was relieved after the massage. The front desk staff were very courteous and were able to direct bill to my 2 insurances. They should develop their website to allow for online booking though. Right now it looks like only phone booking is available."

"I was having allot of neck and back pain as well as consistent headaches. Thanks to Thomas and Mina their therapy made allot of differences with my issues. Especially for my headaches it is almost gone. I don’t know how they know the part of the body and treating, they are amazing. First massaging then acupuncture after that real cupping with real glass cups after these treatments you feel you were just born feels sooo good. I strongly suggest everybody to try."

"if i had to recommend to anyone where people can get a massage, it would be uvall health centre. i have been coming here since my high school years and i remember one of the people working at uvall health centre always using a bit too much pressure almost every time i let her give me a massage, but she does a pretty good job as always. can't say anything negative about this place! absolutely love it ♡"

"I have suffered for weeks with a painful heel. After searching about a dozen places I chose to come to Uvall Health Acupuncture & Massage . Man am I ever happy that I did. Minna gave me the best massage that I have ever had in over 60 years! She really knows here business. She discovered that the pain stemmed from tight muscles in my calf. After about 20 minutes of massage the pain was gone but she kept working. Am I impressed. Put it this way, before leaving I booked another session! Oh and the direct billing to your health plan is a wonderful surprise. THANK YOU MINNA!"

"I have had the MOST infuriating experience with this company. I purchased a groupon for a couples massage. I called to book an appointment on a Saturday. First, I was told that they would be able to squeeze me in, in the morning but asked me to call back to confirm it. I called them back, but spoke with a different person. This person told me that they do not do couples massages on weekends. This is NOT in the fine print of the Groupon. I then spoke with another person a few days later, they told me that Groupon had posted their deal incorrectly and that they do not do couples massages at all. They then offered to do a couples massage Monday - Friday. When I rearranged things in order to make an appointment for a Friday evening, they then told me that they are ALL on vacation from Feb 6-24, and that not a SINGLE person would be there at all. I haven't even been to this place, but I can certainly tell you from the way they operate their business over the phone; it is a waste of time and money. I am absolutely frustrated and will be sure to never give them a cent."

"Worst massage ever. I went here for a post car accident massage. The "massage therapist", which I don't think is even an actual massage therapist, did the whole massage through a sheet. She wouldn't even touch the skin on my back, as they do when you get a massage. It felt like someone was gently touching the sheets . This place is a scam!"

"Please scroll all the way down to see my full review. Customer Service: Poor. I purchased a Groupon for this place like many others who wrote reviews. I had to call in and reschedule the original appointment made (fyi: original appointment would be one week from today - 7 days notice) to the following Monday. An Asian man called me back as I left a voicemail (no one picked up when I called and the voicemail did not specify any information about their company so I only guessed I called the right number). I told him that I would like to reschedule the appointment to the following week and he tells me that they changed owners and no longer provide the service for my Groupon. He told me to get a refund from Groupon. I asked how I could prove to Groupon that you no longer provide this service. He ignored my question, spoke to someone else in the background and then, again, in a quick tone, told me to get a refund and hung up on me. When I first called in, I spoke to the same man and there was another woman. They were both unreliable, have an attitude and are not friendly. This review comes from me with a huge sign to 'STAY AWAY!' . . . Edit/Update: Since this incident, the owner (lady) called me back and expressed her willingness to reschedule an appointment. She said that she was on vacation when it occurred. It appeared that she was more concerned with my review and indicated that the man I spoke to was her husband, and does not normally attend to the business. She *sounded* apologetic and then told me the difficulty of upholding the Groupon agreement when the previous owner established it. . . . A couple weeks later (last week), a younger female called me and offered to refund the Groupon. She was apologetic and swift in delivering her promise. She sent the payment on behalf of UVall in the following day by e-transfer. In conclusion, the customer service and professional level on the phone can be improved in general. I'm not sure I would've received the final correspondence from this company had it not come to this stage. I cannot comment on the quality of their massage and therapies."
