An amazing experience. Had the Signature Facial treatment, added an additional 15 min massage and a brown sugar back scrub. It was by far the nicest treatment I've ever had. Lauren was amazing from start to finish. I will definitely be booking my next treatment with Lauren. The only thing I was a little disappointed about was not being told about the sauna room which I would have loved to have used before my treatment. As well, when I went to pay and leave, the front end staff didn't ask me how my experience was which was a little disappointing.
A phenomenal experience. I enjoyed the Signature Facial with Rochelle and Signature Pedicure with Mandeep, both beyond my expectations. The facial included a back scrub and massage, as well as arms, hands, calves and feet massages. Staff were professional and friendly, and the atmosphere was serene and so relaxing. I felt so pampered! My only two pieces of feedback is that I wasn’t offered a warm neck wrap during my pedicure like the person beside me was (but I honestly wouldn’t have missed it had I not known it was an option) and I’d love footrests in the relaxation lounge…but it’s a minor detail. Thank you for a wonderful experience!
I definitely enjoyed my time here. The shop in the front is elegantly done with some great products. My sugar scrub and massage was heavenly, the room well equipped, and I definitely plan to go back. My only feedback is that the doors to washrooms and change areas get in the way. Perhaps they could be changed to open out? Nice added touch is the sample of skincare after you are finished. I love going to Casbah - the services and amenities are always fabulous. But today, the experience was made even more exceptional thanks to Nyla at the front desk. I had accidentally left my running watch behind after a service, and she went above and beyond to help me locate it. She was incredibly sweet, prompt in getting back to me once she found it, and turned what could have been a disappointing evening into a positive one. Her kindness and responsiveness were truly appreciated. Casbah has always been wonderful, but now, thanks to Nyla, I’m even more impressed!
About 18mths ago I decided to switch from the high end spa I had been using for over 10 years and after research chose Casbah Spa.My first impressions, staff and customer interaction was underwhelming and thinking my decision might be short lived. My technician was Melissa, a relatively new employee here.It was she who saved the day and cemented my decision to return.She did an excellent job on my signature Manicure and pedicure. Through my subsequent visits I always regetted the upon entry interaction with the front desk staff.Surely didn't get that Customers are our everything feeling, until today.A breath of fresh air, Page wearing the new light coloured uniform was over the top compared to my previous visits. Pages genuine personal smile and friendly sincere voice was comforting as she welcomed me to the spa changing area and provided clear instruction and tips.To management, I understand Page is relatively new in this role, if this was my business I would nuture this sweet diamond in the rough! She along with Melissa's excellent skills and personality have kept me a customer.I had an excellent day today and feel much better about my next visit in April.Mary
I booked a spa package that included a light lunch and three services, hoping for a special, relaxing experience. Andrea, my esthetician, was incredible—her service was 10/10, truly five stars. She was attentive, skilled, and made my first two treatments feel amazing. Andrea alone made the visit feel worthwhile. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience fell short. After my first two treatments with Andrea, I was left waiting in the relaxation room with no updates on the schedule. I eventually had to approach the front desk to ask what was happening, and they mentioned that my next technician was running late. When she finally came to get me, she told me she couldn’t find me earlier and thought I hadn’t shown up—this made the experience feel very disorganized. To make matters worse, despite being there from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., I never received the “light lunch” that was supposed to be part of the package. I spent most of the day hungry and confused about what to expect next. As someone who only goes to spas once or twice a year for special occasions, I was hoping for a smooth, pampering experience. I was offered a discount at checkout, but it didn’t quite make up for the lack of coordination and missed lunch. I truly hope they work on their organization and communication because Andrea’s fabulous service deserves to be matched by a well-run experience for guests.
Firstly, the spa itself is lovely. Plenty of little touches that make you relax as soon as you walk in the door. But if only the RMT massage continued the charming experience. The best way I can put it is it felt like being slathered with cream - to music. The RMT barely asked me what I wanted/needed and set to work on me with a very low effort approach that felt more like a trainee massage than any other I have ever experienced. It was neither therapeutic or even relaxing. I just kept thinking "Is that it?" as she worked her way around my body. Check out was rushed and they didn't ask me how my treatment was or I'd have told them my honest opinion. I ended up emailing them for a receipt and mentioned my poor experience. I received one of those mildly patronizing responses essentially thanking me for my great feedback that they would then use to improve their service and they hoped to see me again. I would not have written a Google review if I'd received a more sincere proactive reply. As it is, I won't be going back. They did nothing to win back my repeat business.
I’ve visited twice and booked with Amanda for a gel manicure & pedicure (Signature Manicure before Christmas and Express Manicure last week), and both experiences were excellent! Amanda is meticulous, and my hands and feet looked fantastic for weeks! Thank you for doing such a great job, Amanda!
