Absolutely the best cold plunge spot in the city! Immaculately clean, well-organized, and the staff go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. The location is perfect—easy to get to and beautifully set up. If you’re looking for a premium cold plunge experience, this is the place. Highly recommend!
**Amazing Hot and Cold Spa Experience – A Must-Try!** After several sessions at the secret spa location, I was beyond excited to try out the new location and it was an absolutely incredible experience. The staff were knowledgeable, explaining the process and providing us with towels and a robe to use during the experience. The hot sauna was soothing and relaxing, with plenty of space, while the cold plunge was invigorating and will leave you feeling refreshed and energized. The facilities were spotless, with a serene and luxurious atmosphere that added to the overall experience. After my session, I felt a noticeable reduction in muscle tension and a boost in mental clarity. Whether you're looking to relieve stress, enhance recovery, or just try something new, this is the spa to check out. I will definitely be returning soon.
This location is really cool and much needed in the area. It's a great spot to chill and relax with friends but really depends on timing. It can get overcrowded, making it tricky to get into the baths or find a seat by the fire. There are quieter times, though, which are the best since the sauna is usually full. The outdoor area could use more seating or additional fires, especially when it's cold. One concern is that the robes have a musty smell, particularly in the armpit area, which has happened the last few times friends and I have gone. It’s quite off-putting and doesn’t inspire confidence in their cleanliness. The towels are also quite small, so it's best to bring your own. That said, the flip-flops are very comfy.
I wouldn’t recommend the Shipyards location during the day if you're looking for a relaxing experience. The max capacity is up to 20 people due to overlapping sessions, and the bathrooms and changing rooms are just too small to comfortably accommodate that many guests. While the sauna is spacious, it’s not enjoyable with more than 10 people inside, especially since some guests don’t seem to know how to keep their voices down. Also, I’m curious if they empty the water baths during the group switchovers? I’ve been to Secret Location, and I’d definitely recommend it over this spot for a more peaceful experience.
Tality is an absolute gem! My friend and I arrived thinking we had a specific reservation, but it turns out we didn’t. Despite this, the staff went above and beyond to accommodate us, and I couldn’t be more grateful—especially on a day when I really needed to decompress. The experience was incredible from start to finish. The cold plunge and sauna were exactly what my nervous system needed, and the little details—like kombucha on tap and essential oils for the sauna—made it even better. Sitting by the fire and pulling oracle cards was the perfect way to end the night. A beautiful space, kind staff, and an overall amazing atmosphere. I’ll 100% be back!
11/10 experience! Peter, Ally, and the Tality Wellness team are all superstars. I’ve come here a couple times now and am always amazed by the. cleanliness of the space, the quality of the sauna/cold baths and the ambience of the fireplace. The location is also perfectly nestled into the North Vancouver Quay area so it’s easy to walk, bike or park close by. The Koombocha, tea and water on tap is also a big bonus. And they provide robes and sandals for you to use for your session. Definitely go here for a date night or with some friends you want to catch up with. Also, the scented essential oils in the sauna are next level. Already looking forward to my next session!
Mixed on how to score this. The staff are all very nice and the cold plunge tanks are great with the nice sauna but the intake change area quickly becomes too crowded especially at the top and end of the hour as people are all checking in / leaving. There’s also this weird curb in the spa near the towel rack we all tripped over as it’s the same tile pattern as we didn’t see it. However they have a good number of cold plunge tubs to people allowed to book per session as we were never waiting long. Also liked that there’s a small table outside the sauna which is a nice spot to put your glasses for a moment so they don’t melt. Once you’re in the facility it’s great and the coffee and kombucha is quite nice but the getting in / leaving part could be improved as everyone is stumbling over each other to get their things as it’s far too small and it’s an unfortunate way to end your experience. We did have a moment of confusion at the start as there’s a women’s change room and a universal one. We were looking for the men’s but turns out it is only the two. Also the toilets were missing the flush button for some reason?
If you're looking for a spa experience that goes above and beyond the ordinary, then this is the spot. The ambiance was serene, with great music and a relaxing lounge area that set the perfect mood for a day of self-care. The ice bath was the real MVP of the day. I must admit, I was slightly concerned that I'd turn into a human popsicle, but it turned out to be an invigorating experience. Going from the sauna's warmth to the ice bath's chill was like playing the world's most refreshing game of hot potato. I can't wait to return for another session. Don't forget your sauna hat!
