"Hello . I just called in , the second I found out I now work tomorrow . I booked two massages and intend to book more , like one every 2 weeks , I'm here for 3 months for work. I realize it's 3 hours past the 24 hour cancellation period, this was a rare emergency as a co workers parent passed away . I do appreciate you offering to have me rebook with your therapist within 30 days to avoid a cancellation fee. However. I don't have confidence that within her limited availability of three weekdays and my schedule of generally working Monday to Friday dusk til dawn , this doesn't allow me to rebook. I asked the person on the phone politely to make an exception and they said I can talk to the manager tomorrow. That's not going to work for me. If I cant have a short three hour window of unpredictable circumstances forgiven and accommodated, it really makes me not want to utilize your massage therapists at all , and isn't okay. I would appreciate you seeing my unique perspective and having some empathy for my situation, rather than giving me no way out of being dinged money I can't afford to lose . Please consider my request and do the right thing , I'm a new customer and I have every intention of utilizing your business for the next few months and in future. optimistically do hope to receive a positive response and resolution here shortly. Thanks in advance. Zero effort made here. Just none. Unacceptable , you took none of this at face value and could have just made an exception . I have a regular massage place in Vancouver and they ALWAYS allow exceptions in emergencies. Sad state of non existent customer service. You would have had 5 new bookings , and other new clients , instead. , you chose to just be utterly immoral and completely inconsiderate. Great business plan on treating new clients like trash. Horrible ethics .I would have booked within the 30 days with a new therapist, however , not even given that option. Explained my situation, and NOT a shred of care. Brutual. Update. I was not rude to your admin. That's a lie you put on here to justify your lack of compassion towards an emergency work issue. You had a chance at a simple reschedule that works for me , it was 21 hours and hit 24 because I didn't know my coworkers would have to attend a last minute tragedy. The fact that you continue to stand behind your unnecessary lack of compassion to my situation is disgusting. You don't deserve my business and if there is an attempt to take money out of my account over this , I will be taking this to the bbb. Newspaper and every available avenue to shame your lies , lack of customer service and rude reception and management. Shame on you for being this petty ."

"I really enjoyed my massage with Gwen. She really focused on the area of my back which needed extra attention. She also suggested useful stretches for me to do which I really appreciated. Overall very positive experience. Thank you Gwen for a wonderful massage."

"Did my hair here I asked for a balayage, no orange colour and she gave me orange hair with highlights instead. When I asked to fix it she “fixed” it just slightly she didn’t change the colour problem. Don’t ever get balayage from here or any hard skilled hair color they only know basic dye like full colour. What I asked for in the picture below and what I got. (The second picture is her “fixed”). She tried to gaslight me and tell me it’s not orange multiple times. She also blames my hair for it being orange as a professional you should know what works and what doesn’t on peoples hair I was transparent with what I wanted."

"My wife had her Hair cut and Highlights done from Rekha and I must say she did an amazing job. She also get her eyebrows and facial done from this place and it is worth every penny we pay. Prices are reasonable for all the services ????"

"It took a lot for me to decide to write this review. I have had other minor incidents with this business in the past, but this time it has gone too far. I have been seeing Rekha for over 20 years for mostly threading and waxing services. I booked an appointment with her for full face waxing, being that I have been going to her for years, she knows that I prefer waxing for sideburns and the rest of my face she does threading. She even confirmed, that was what I wanted, first before proceeding. This time around she decided to wax my cheeks right below my eyes, which is a sensitive area. I did not question her as she has years of experience, so I trusted her. After she was done, I checked if my waxing and threading was to my liking. I saw that my face was a bit red, but that's normal after a waxing service and it's quite dark in the main area to notice anything right away. When I was driving I felt an irritation that I don't normally feel when I get waxing done. I stopped and checked my mirror and noticed that my upper cheek area was pink and it looked like the wax peeled my skin. I was furious as I have many upcoming events to attend to. I sent her a text message to let her know, she called as soon as she received my message. She explained to me that she did notice it when she did my waxing and that she said it was my fault because I did a peel on my face prior to getting my waxing done. I told her no, I did not do a peel. I've worked in spas for 10 years and reached out to a friend who is an aesthetician to confirm if what Rekha said was true. She said no, that should never happen and that it was a sensitive area and she should have never waxed there. I will no longer support this business."

"I went to get my hair highlighted at Rekha’s store and it was first my time going to her shop. Looking at pictures of her work didn’t look as good as it should have, but in person, it looks amazing. I was surprised about the price too. Her price is very reasonable for her work. I would definitely go here again."

"Worst place ever (for sewing purposes) the lady doesn't know how to sew and wasted our time and she still expected us to pay which I did because some people are desperate for cash. She also got her blood on the extra fabric for the blouse. ???? She only sewed one side making it wonky and then when told to do it correctly the zipper broke (which can happen) then puts a green zipper on a pink blouse and said it would be hidden, sews it outside and then sews it again and it'll be showing. Then she suggests she'll put hooks on the blouse and it was just a mess."

"Honestly first time laser and heard good reviews so I went in. Gave me info like I could wax and thread but no other advice. Came home with a rash that was severe and rekha also said you could wax and thread in between . WRONG you shouldn't. I'm surprised this place is still open. The place is pretty busy with inadequate number of staff. I have been going to salon and spas for the past 10 years. Biggest mistake was coming here at this location...plus they are expensive. Overall nice lady but i feel like she has no idea what she was doing and my skin ain't sensitive nor allergic to anything. I hope all goes well. I'm just praying for the best."
