"I had extensions installed at City Looks recently, and the results were terrible. I'm attaching photos, along with the email I sent to the owner. I never received a reply—very disappointing. If you look through other negative reviews, you’ll see that poor customer service is a pattern here. They simply ignore problems. I don’t feel they care about their clients and would strongly recommend going elsewhere. I ended up visiting a second salon, and the stylist was shocked by the condition of the extensions. Here’s the email I sent: Dear: Farzana Esmail, I recently had tape-in extensions installed at your salon by Johanna on March 12th. Unfortunately, I have some serious concerns about the quality of the extensions. I went to another salon for a second opinion on the 17th and was advised that they should not look the way they did after less than a week. The main issues were that the attachment points were left white, which was very noticeable against my dark brown hair. I had no idea of this as Johanna did not tell me. I found out from my husband when he noticed it while we were out to dinner that evening; I was mortified. The other issue is that the extensions were extremely dry and stiff. I was told they would soften after a wash yet they did not. They would not move naturally and did not look like natural hair at all (please see photos attached). Despite proper care they always looked messy. I have since had them removed and new extensions installed elsewhere. The difference is enormous. They are soft and silky and look like real hair. Given that I paid over $1000, I believe a significant refund would be appropriate. I would appreciate it being processed back to my original payment method. "I had my hair done by Trish and she did a fantastic job. My hair had multiple colours in it and she did a great job fixing the colour of my hair. It went from multiple shades of red and the roots were dark brown to a nice soft brown. I recommend this salon, because of the great service and the expertise of the staff. They are also very polite and courteous, as well as make great conversation. Heather C."

Our appointment was with Cindy and I was blown away by her knowledge, professionalism and ability to make us all feel like this was a regular girls day out of shopping! The experience was educational, but also fun, considering the reason we were there. I've been seeing him for the past couple of years for shoulder, back and more recently knee pain. My muscle aches feel much better after every session. He is very knowledgeable in his field and has great suggestions for exercises/stretches to help lessen aches and pains."
