"This may be long but I’m gonna write the type of review I would want. I was in Winnipeg for work and had been travelling a lot, work stress, life stress, etc. I was in bad shape so I googled massage places in the city. Matrix was the first place that had availability and good google ratings. I was assigned to John and able to fill out my consultation form stuff online. Amazing. It was 40 degrees in the city and when I walked it, the AC was pumping but the table was just nicely warmed and I felt super comfortable temp wise. John confirmed some paint points then we got down to it. John felt super safe and was like gentle but professional moving my limbs around but firm where he felt I needed it and checked in on pressure early on. Other than that, we didn’t say a word which is like THE PERFECT situation for me. I hate having to talk about myself or make awkward small talk during massages and there was none of that which was so nice. John also had a really nice subtle smell (sorry if that’s creepy, it was just pleasant). They direct billed my Blue Cross and I paid what was left and that was it. Great experience all around, I feel awesome next day and would go again if I live here."

"John’s approach is one of healing and intuitiveness. I don’t often suffer from back pain, but when I do it quickly becomes debilitating. I had been traveling for weeks and started to suffer from pain and new stretching was not going to be enough. To my amazement I was able to secure a 6:30pm appointment for 90 minutes with John. When I woke up the next morning, able to stand up straight, without pain I knew just how lucky I was. He found other areas that need maintenance, and dug deep, to my benefit. This morning while stretching my movements wet flowing and unrestrained. I highly recommended John."

"I’ve been going to Matrix for two years now and been recommending it to family and friends. The rooms and washroom are clean and charming. I love the heated bed, warm towels and instrumental soothing music during the massage. Leigh is my favourite massage therapist, she is excellent! I very much appreciate that she does her massage quietly and not do any small talks nor make mannerism sounds. I go on Sundays and the place is serene, I have not experienced having other staff nor customer talking loudly in the other rooms since I’m the only customer in my time so this really makes the experience so relaxing so I hope it stays that way."

"This summer I had a facial treatment and 2 sets of waxing with Rachel. She was awesome! She was very thorough with the waxing, and made sure to keep me distracted so I didn't get too anxious. Before the facial, I had filled out a form and mentioned I had sensitivities to some fruit. While preparing for the facial, Rachel noticed this on my form, then began meticulously going through the ingredients list of every product she planned to use to ensure none of it would irritate my skin. She showed a lot of dedication and knowledge; I appreciated her effort and really enjoyed my time with her. I highly recommend this spa and I definitely recommend Rachel :)"
