    "I was helped out by River for my first ever float with Modern Gravity and she was an absolute delight, super helpful and just an absolute pip, she helped elevate the whole experience! The facilities are super cool and I loved the whole experience from booking to walking out at the end. An absolute treat!"

    "The inside of the studio was quite nice walking into; however, the float rooms need some extra TLC. Inside of the float room smells terrible, there is no music and the light choice is medium bright to nothing. Some more light choices would be awesome. I also wish there was more floating devices given to support the head for those who do not wish to get water in their ears. It did come with ear plugs, but water was still going into my ear. The changing room area also needs a shower curtain or some water bags to protect your clothes from being splashed. There also needs to be a bench put in for getting ready to leave or simply taking a moment after the float in the bath robe they provide. I was also quite surprised by how small the pods are and the lack of water. It’s not very big and if you struggle with claustrophobia, this is definitely not for you. Calgary has much bigger pods. Another note is if your sensitive area is particularly sensitive be prepared for a bad reaction. I wish there was a disclaimer on the website or even in the float room to warn women of the potential risk. I hadn’t thought to consider how it might impact me until it was too late. Do not repeat my mistake and do some research about the potential risk before going. Positives: staff was very nice, bathroom was clean and the outside of the float room was nice. The provided shampoo and conditioner was a cool addition as well."

    "2024-12 I hated my experience. The staff and facilities are decent. I found it a bit impersonal to have to watch an educational video before the float, but oh well. The woman who helped me at first was pleasant, but I think maybe ear plugs should be given out without asking if the customers wants it - perhaps first time customers don't know if they need earplugs or not. I got a deal at this time of year - 2 floats for $99. When I got to my room, I didn't see a ledge where I could put my glasses, so that was an inconvenience, but thankfully my clothes were far enough away from the shower. I got into the float room and started hyperventilating. I didn't float like you're lying on a mattress, but I floated. I started to feel a bit sick to my stomach after a while, so I figured I should open the float room door, which gave me some fresh air, but it was a bit cold. I tried turning the fake starlight on and off, or the pool lights on or off, but nothing helped. Was this all there was? I felt humiliated, having paid $99 to just float on water. There's nobody around. Was I missing something? The fellow at church raved about how great it was, and that's why I was there that day. I sat up in the tub, wondering what I was missing. Before my time was up (when they play music in your float room), I decided I wasn't going to continue to torture myself so I left early, started showering, and then could hear the music after a while. I couldn't figure out what the bathrobe was for, since they say in the video that they would like you to be all cleared out of your room within 10-15 minutes. Was I supposed to wear the bathrobe, go to the open area near the desk and blowdry my hair, then come back to the room and put my clothes on and leave? I didn't realize that you could sit in the waiting area after your float and sleep or what not, as I've heard of others doing. Perhaps it would have my experience better. I told the now guy employee at the front that I had a horrible experience, but he didn't seem to have any care for the company itself or its reputation. I got a gift card for the second float, which I gave to that fellow at church, because I dared not give it to my folks to try out - they would reproach me harshly for spending money on something so foolish. And indeed, on the gift card, it says "The gift of nothing". I would have been much happier spending this money on groceries or even going to the local pool 8 times. I really hated my experience and would not recommend it to anyone. I don't know how this company stays in business. But as I said, the staff and facilities were pleasant."

    "Everything was clean, enjoyable and very relaxing. The temperature of the water was perfect! The girl at the front was SO lovely! I would recommend this spot for a relaxing float!"

    "I've been to a few different float studios before, and Modern Gravity is by far the best. Everything was extremely clean and organized. There were touch screen pads with headphones as you enter that let you watch a brief video on how to float. The do's and don'ts. Love how the float tanks almost seemed to be a room to themselves. Also, I loved the area with the Dyson hairblade, almost burnt my beard off. Can't believe how fast it dried. Can't forget about the after float tea area, nice added touch, and great selection. Thank you for a wonderful time."

    "Pretty awesome place. Went in with my wife for the first time. Thought it was going to be boring, turns out to be super relaxing and I felt 9x better when I came out. Awesome vibe great experience. I get that the price is medium but I am looking forward to the costs coming down, I would go way more often as a monthly ritual."

    "I had my second float tonight and again my neck has more pain free mobility than it has since my car accident in 2015!! Not to mention… both the lovely lady this evening and the one from my first visit were so kind and welcoming and made me feel calm and at so welcome! 10/10 recommend :)"
