"My friend and I had the pure organic facial and it was such a wonderful experience. They gave us full scalp, neck, and arm massages and we left there feeling like we didn't know what year it was and we didn't want to leave! The girls that work there are so lovely, too. They're very passionate about their work."

"I would personally will not be going there again. The lady at the front made me feel uncomfortable when I tipped for the massage before paying. Tipping is not mandatory, and I am not obligated to leave anything. After that I just felt awkward and the massage was not good tbh. Nothing agains the place, maybe just whoever attended me."

"Very poorly operated…Bought a couples massage, when we went for it the card had no balance so we were forced to pay for it again. A few days later they called to say they had made a mistake and we would now have a credit on our file. Months later I go in for a massage and lo and behold the manger looks all over and nothing found on the file. After speaking with the owner she claims myself or my girlfriend must have picked up the card. Despite neither of us ever being back. So end of the day we lost out on the $200something massage. Not the end of the world but their whole process and how it was handled is rather embarrassing. I’d definitely recommend some of the other great spas in Thunder Bay."

"Had a very good experience. The place was clean and calming. The nail tech was very kind and I enjoyed the conversations. I will definitely be going back. I had gel French tips done about two weeks a go. They are still looking fresh. Very happy with my experience and would recommend the spa to anyone who asks. ????"

"I went in for a manicure and a pedicure. The service was excellent. Staff treated me well well, however the quality of my nails were not the greatest. I paid $150 for my manicure and pedicure so I would’ve liked my nails to look nicer. There were a lot of small, bumps and imperfections."

"My bf bought me a spa day for Christmas. I got an hour long massage, which was really nice and relaxing. A body wrap and lotion, my skin still feels really soft and smooth almost a week later. A facial with a scalp massage, which I almost went to dream land I was soo relaxed. And finished off with a pedicure. Every service was wonderful, except I found it a bit uncomfortable that they use a raised bench with sinks at your feet and not the usual massage/sink chairs that most places have."

"The ladies at Pure Salon and Day Spa truly understand the concept of pampering. Whether I am there with my daughters for a 3-person pedicure appointment or enjoying Ocean’s facial expertise to peel away the years, I come out feeling so much better then when I arrived. Their in-house skin care line, Eminence, is now my go-to facial product. It is all natural with no retinol and safe for all skin types. I feel the difference since switching and really love visiting the spa for a professional application. This is the spa I would recommend to friends and clients visiting from out of town. I am so happy that I just walked in one day looking for a pedicure. Can’t wait for my next appointment!"

"I had the Indian Head Massage this last weekend and it was lovely! Jess was super sweet to deal with as well! My one suggestion is that for the Spa to mention there is no shampoo after the treatment - leaving your hair quite greasy from the hot oil treatment. I would suggest maybe noting this on the service so people are aware in case they have plans afterwards! Other than that the establishment was great and I can't wait to return!"

"I booked the Ayurvedic face massage with Steph and it was incredibly soothing, I added the oil scalp massage and ASMR hair play. Loved the hair play so much that I booked the full ASMR experience for the following day. Jess did a wonderful job, it was even better than I anticipated. So good I fell asleep.
