I arrived for my massage after walking there in -20 weather. I coughed a couple time cause I get a dry cough when I walk in such cold weather( doesn’t sound great but I get it all the time). The therapist came out from the back and immediately accused me of being sick. I tried to explain but instead, in front of other customers and the receptionist, told me she had a prenatal appointment making me feel really awful like I was putting someone at risk. Again when I tried to explain she cut me off saying this was her living and implied that she had to take care of her reputation. I said I wasn’t there to make anyone feel uncomfortable and if that’s what she wanted I wasn’t arguing ( not worth it). I left and felt really embarrassed and quite awful frankly. I would suggest that these concerns be discussed in private and allow for your customer to explain. I will not be returning to this location which is too bad as I’ve been going there for many years and was on the edge based on another disappointing situation previously but now I am definitely finding a new massage place. Customer relations training may is advisable.
I didn’t want to place this review but I received an email telling me how effective their massages are . So here is my experience and thoughts . I felt like I was being interviewed. Hands in the air telling stories instead of on my body. Vacation $20 beach massage at best. I also had a similar experience at the Danforth location thus why I thought I would try a different location . Left no different than I arrived except lighter in the pocket . Here’s what I think . There’s a lot of rooms and some great reviews . Perhaps they have a solid full time staff and want volume so they have freelancers..:. And they put them in the basement. So…. If you visit multiple times you can find a gem upstairs and stick with them and get good results .. This ain’t Vegas and I’ve rolled the dice twice with this company and come up with zeros . Not into gambling with my hard earned money . Bad business plan . You can take your chances and hope for a gem (if the positive reviews are legit which I think they are ) or choose a studio that only has gems . Easy peasy . McMassage and I’m not loving it. 2 stars because the receptionist is super professional . UPDATE You have my contact information, I filled out extensive paperwork prior to my appointment and my name is clearly on the review Why do you respond like this . It’s purely for show .
I had some concerns and I addressed them with the manager. As a neuro divergent human, I find it challenging to express my needs in the moment. I was able to communicate by email and the manager was considerate and kind. As a result, I had a really great massage with Pamela. I could talk with her and she was understanding. I will go back.
I came here in desperation for acupuncture (first time); for a hand issue my GP initially dismissed but eventually referred to a specialist (probably no need now). After Jane's expert treatment, I was able to make a fist the next day, without discomfort, for the first time in over 1 year. Incredible!! Thanks!!!
Friendly service and clear communication. Appreciate the email and text reminders. Mikaela helped me sign up for a membership. Oliver RMT really listened to my concerns and I had one of the best massages. Also handy there is Green P parking really close by.
Dr. Anita has been a huge help with my back issues. She’s knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely cares—I highly recommend her for anyone who is looking for a chiropractor!
Great massage studio. Always clean and an easy and friendly check in process but best of all is Kenneth. He is one of the best massage therapists I have ever encountered. Always a top notch, friendly and professional experience with him. Be warned, he will find all your knots and he will destroy them. ????
The staff is always friendly- reception. Jigme is a fantastic massage therapist and we get along well. He is professional, kind and massages well. I always get a deep tissue massage from him but have also tried cupping and acupuncture at the Beaches Massage Addict.
