"Have been using Active healing for all my massage needs since they were in their old location next to Café Amore, probably a good 10 years. Unfortunately, I had a medical emergency with my DOG the day of my last appointment and called in to cancel my appointment that day. Employee on the phone was nice and sympathetic and said its OK, no worries. A few days go by and I get an email from my insurance company that my claim for my massage has been approved and paid to Active healing. This is outright 'insurance fraud' or basically theft. Now I am spending hours dealing with my insurance company to get this reversed ( which is another pain point as they seem to put the onus on me to prove I didn't get a massage that day). Anyways, poor decision making by Active healing, as they have lost myself and my wife as clients. Even if I get the claim reversed, the fact they ran it through and put me in a position to spend hours the past 2 days to deal with it, is enough for me to pick and choose one of the dozens of competitors near my home in the future."
