"This was my first visit, and while I appreciated that they could fit me in within an hour of calling, I didn’t have a good experience overall. I typically go to a Thai massage place on Fisgard St., which is excellent. I’ve had Thai massages for years, including outside Victoria, and this experience fell below my expectations. The therapist began with an oil massage, but it felt unprofessional and unstructured. After about 15 minutes, I shared my concerns, and she stepped out to consult with her manager. Despite completing the full hour and paying nearly $100, I left feeling disappointed. For comparison, the other place I visit charges $80 and consistently provides a much higher-quality experience. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t recommend this location based on my visit."

"The massage lacked technique. There was no targeted muscle work. The experience was literally just stretching limbs (Thai part of the massage) and applying massive amounts of hot oil on the skin and wiping it about. They also suggested to the person I was with that he take his boxers off. He had never been to a Thai massage and didn’t realize he would eventually be on his back and that his legs would be stretched apart and moved around while he was naked. He felt really uncomfortable as the massage progressed. Wouldn’t go back to this establishment."

"Had a great relaxing, away from my phone experience at Float Valley. 1. Swimming suit is optional but If you bring one, bring your own bag for the wet suit. They have plastic bags available where the pouder room is but their bag was thin to keep wet suit from not leaking. 2. They have ear plugs, hair dryer, shampoo, conditioner & body wash and body lotion. Bring your moisturizer for your face. 3. I was afraid to be inside the chamber for floating( being a little claustrophobic in stuff) but the chamber for the couple had a high ceiling and very spacious. Had no fear. 4. Water for floating was skin temp and they shoot whirlpool at the end of 15 min. Was very nice."

"My sister-in-law, having experienced Float herself gifted me a visit to their spa oasis for my birthday. It was incredible. I chose the ozone sauna. It was unique and left v me feeling revitalized. From the moment you walk in the door to the minute you leave you feel calm and cared for. Kirsten explained everything and when I finished gave me a tour of the hot sauna and cold plunge as well as the two float rooms. Each is serene and cleanly. They check in on you through the treatment. I left feeling like a million dollars. From the layout and ambience to the caring staff, I can't say enough positive things about my experience. The value of treating yourself or having someone else treat you is well worth it. I know I will go back and try the other two experiences or have a massage and acupuncture. I highly recommend it."

"Very interesting experience. I did the sensory deprivation tank - ocean option as I’m 6’6. There’s 800 lbs of magnesium infused salts in the bath/tank. I feel invigorated, as someone who’s suffered from joint pain & inflammation as well as ditching Rx and trying holistic, natural medicinal efforts.. I must say this was right up my alley. Kiersten was the front desk personnel giving me useful tips, a tour & helped me to relax as this was my first time. She was amazing & has a great personality, guiding newcomers to this immersive experience! I will be adding this to my guysc guys & gals or couples trip itinerary. This was literally absolutely amazing ????"

"First time coming here with my wife for the 30 minute IR Sauna. Place was wonderful, booking was very simple online. Sauna itself is clean and workers were very nice esp Ing. She took the time to go through all the services offered at Float Valley and showed us all the rooms. She's very knowledgeable and wonderful. We'll definitely be back to try all the other services. Money worth it for health and relaxation. My wife and I like the fact that you get your own private room. Some big spa places have a challenge controlling crowd noise but the set up here is great. Very private and very relaxing."

"Tried the 60-minute Ocean Float for the first time and loved my experience so much! I was a little anxious at first, but it ended up being such a relaxing experience. I could breathe deeper, and once I finally let myself relax, it was so peaceful. I left the door open a crack since it was my first time, but next time, I’ll try closing it fully. The staff were great and made me feel really comfortable, especially going on my own. I highly recommend trying out one of their services :)"

"Love this place. Couldn't recommend it enough. Was recommended to me and have been telling everyone in my life about it since I tried it the first time. The staff are so friendly, calm and helpful. They really set the relaxation tone from the moment you step into Float Valley. The float rooms are large with lot soft space to shower and change before getting into the pods. If you haven't tried floating, it's a must for deep relaxation and healing. So many great benefits that you feel as soon as you exit the pod."

"Had an amazing 60 Min Traditional Bodywork Therapy with Mara today. I left Float Valley feeling very refreshed and more agile as a result of Mara's close attention to my needs. She was extremely friendly and very adept at her craft. The relaxing environment she created made the session very calming and enjoyable. I definitely will be booking more sessions."

"It was my first time getting this treatment and the staff was very nice. My hair feels so smooth and the products that they used have a really nice scent to them. My favourite part was the head and neck massage that they gave. The whole process was very relaxing and the heated eye mask that was used definitely helped with that. They also gave us complimentary snacks and drinks. The overall store also has a nice vibe to it. Will definitely be back in the future."

"We were very disappointed that our lovely Mother’s Day was spoilt. Weeks prior we booked 3 massages for 90 minutes for my daughters and myself. 2 days before we were called to say the can not accommodate 90 minute massage for 3 of us, only for one of us. We were sharing a room together. I also did not realize that when my children had finished they let strangers in the same room as me. How rude. Total lack of privacy. When we got there to check in, they said that it was not their fault about the messed up booking. After much discussion, it was agreed that the receptionist booked it incorrectly. Then the offered us a $10.00 credit for our next visit. I told them that I expect it for this visit as it was totally their fault about the massage. Then they said that they will offer us $5.00 instead. That is very unprofessional. To top it all off, the room that I was having the massage in, they let strangers share my room. We were all disappointed with the way things were handled. Total lack of customer service. I have been there many times and have recommended people to go there. I definitely should have bed. Treated better."

"Yardley Head Spa is one of those places that makes you wonder why you even came. It looks amazing on social media, but the real experience tells a different story. I went with a friend, and from the beginning, the staff were not welcoming. There was barely any communication — most of them don’t speak English well, and the vibe was cold and dismissive. It didn’t feel like a relaxing spa at all. It felt more like someone rushing through a task, with zero warmth or hospitality. They promise hair styling at the end, but what we got was just a quick blow-dry — no effort, no finish. For the price, the whole experience was disappointing, impersonal, and honestly, not worth it. There are much better options out there where you actually feel like you’re at a spa, not just a conveyor belt."
