"Roger Walker is one of the best therapist I have met. During our multiple sessions, he was able to eliminate my painful breathing (I had a twist in my ribs that were crushing my lungs) and reduce my scoliotic curve from 3.5" to 1.75" (50%) in only 2 months of treatment. I have never made such a progress with other types of treatment!"
"Roger Walker is one of the best therapists I have ever met. Because he is passionate about what he does and caring so much about people, you can trust him to help your body get rid off pain and restore its full potential and functionality."
"I’ve been coming to Yonge Rehab for over 8 years. Everyone is so polite. From the bubbly receptionist to every therapist. I treat everyone with kindness, because I get kindness, from everyone here. Every therapist has their own touch, and that’s one thing I like. Many times, they go beyond and above, to treat an issue they catch or see. Today was a perfect example. Anna was truly amazing . She cupped the hell out of by back, because she said , I needed it, and she was 100% right. I highly recommend this place to anyone."
"THE BUSINESS IS DISCOURAGING LOW-STAR REVIEWS! (Review updated 2025April16) The business cancelled my appointment because of my low rating (3/5 stars) rating given to them! ( Upon return from a 3 month long trip in Asia last week, yesterday, I booked an appointment tomorrow with Anna (the therapist I rated excellent in my last review) using the business's online booking, I noted the business called me earlier today while I was out and about, when I called them back, they told me to check my email, and in the email they cancelled my appointment citing reason is that I gave them a low review, I guess it's a sort of discouraging clients not to give genuine review, I've been visiting the business for several years now, for physiotherapy and RMT, but never had an issue with a registered massage, but I had an issue with the last therapist who jumped on my back with back walking without first asking for my permission, that's the main reason for the 3 star rating (Anna 5 star, the other 2 star average is 3 star), in any case, if this is their tactics of silencing their critics, then I will take my business elsewhere. Here's the email I got from them: "Thank you for booking an appointment with us. However, we noticed that you recently left a low-star review for our business. We respect your opinion and take all feedback seriously. To protect both our team and our clients, we’ve made the decision not to proceed with future appointments for clients who are not satisfied with our services. As such, we will be cancelling your scheduled appointment for tomorrow. We believe this helps avoid another experience that may not meet your expectations. We truly wish you the best in finding a clinic that’s a better fit for your needs. Thank you again for your past visit and your feedback. Warm regards, Yonge Rehab Management Team" Original review in December 2024 with 3 stars Excellent Acupuncturist therapy with Anna, last RMT massage with another therapist so so."
"I recently had a fantastic deep tissue massage with Nicole at Yonge Rehab, and I highly recommend her! She was incredibly skilled, focusing on the areas where I was experiencing the most tension. I left feeling so much looser and relaxed. Thank you, Nicole, for the excellent treatment!"
"I’ve been a client at Yonge Rehab for over 3 years, and the experience has been consistently outstanding. The clinic offers a warm and welcoming environment, with clean and comfortable facilities that immediately put you at ease. The staff are professional, attentive, and genuinely care about their clients’ well-being. Each therapist brings a high level of expertise, tailoring treatments to individual needs. I highly recommend Yonge Rehab to anyone."
"I recently visited Yonge Rehab with a friend for a massage. While the massage itself was good, my experience was unfortunately marred by the unprofessional behavior of the receptionist. I provided my insurance information, and it was declined. Instead of handling this matter calmly and professionally, the receptionist interrupted my treatment, coming into the room while I was lying down to inform me that my insurance had been declined. I politely asked if we could discuss this after my treatment, but she insisted on addressing it immediately. After my session, I paid without any issue, but I was frustrated by how the situation was handled. When I brought my concerns to the receptionist, she told me it was their "policy." I asked her to wait until after the treatment, as I would never leave without paying, and she responded by saying she didn’t know what kind of person I was, which was incredibly offensive. I then requested to speak to the manager, but the receptionist refused to provide the manager's name or contact information. She told me her name was Eva, but I have doubts about that. She claimed a manager would reach out to me the following day, but no one ever did. It’s unfortunate that such unprofessional behavior is tolerated at a recovery clinic. I’m sharing my experience to help others avoid the frustration I went through. Yonge Rehab needs to ensure that their staff, especially at the front desk, are properly trained in customer service and professionalism. This type of behavior can easily damage a business. I hope this review helps bring attention to the importance of improving the customer experience, particularly with the front desk staff."
"I have been having massage here for about a few years now. Anna is my masseur. She is amazing. She understands her clients' needs, she works hard to heal the area that you have pain in. She is a friendly, funny, and loving person. I really recommend Anna. Thanks, Anna."
"It was great but sadly not as good as old days. Wait time is getting longer and not every masseur is great. Updated my 5 star to 4 ( thinking about 3.5 but that’s not an option) after two long waits and two disappointing sessions in past a few months (walking out of the clinic with both my arms and legs covered in oil ????). There are still good masseurs and acupuncturists but not everyone. ————————— It's definitely a hidden gem! I've been visiting them for almost four years and have had fantastic experiences every time. The staff are super friendly and make you feel right at home. The RMTs are really professional and know what they're doing. While it's not the cheapest place, the quality of service is totally worth it. Plus, they support direct billing, which makes everything super easy. The whole place has a great vibe, and I've always felt comfortable during my visits."
"I am extremely disappointed with the customer service at this place. Both receptionist were incredibly rude and dismissive from the moment I walked in. there is no excuse for treating customers so poorly especially since I’ve been coming here since 2022. would not recommend this place to anyone looking for respectful service. They also tell you they book you with “RMT” but it’s just a regular masseuse. I brought my friend with me and her insurance didn’t end up going through and she decided to come and interrupt our massage to tell us it didn’t go through.. she could have waited till the end to say that then when we told her that she became defensive and so rude it was actually disgusting. It was the receptionist with the short bob."
