Made a reservation for 4 girls to spend a few hours at the spa for a girlfriend's 40th. It was so lovely and relaxing. I enjoyed that it was ladies only. Definitely created a different environment but was certainly relaxing and rejuvenating. We didn't do any services but enjoyed 2-3 rotations of the recommended pool rotation (which you certainly don't have to do). Staff were friendly and were consistently checking the pool area too make sure everything was clean and were testing the water/pools which is always reassuring. I would definitely recommend and return in the future. Thought the price was very reasonable! Towels, sandals, robes, and locks ARE provided. There are 2 fountains in the pool room. Would recommend their Hornby energy bars for afterwards and an iced drink for during. Would also recommend bringing a water bottle and electrolytes to remain hydrated and feel your absolute best post visit. Oh! And absolutely NO phones past reception which I also loved! Just disconnect and enjoy! Thanks Body Blitz!
What an amazing experience!!! From the moment I stepped through the door I felt welcome all of the staff were upbeat and positive. My introduction to therapeutic waters and the combination and sequence of using them was terrific, hydrating and I felt totally relaxed. I had a facial also with Emma who was very knowledgeable, professional and answered all of my questions. I enjoyed very it much and would certainly love another visit!!
Great first time at Body Blitz. Staff was friendly and the facility and waters were very clean (though the main pools area lacks ambience). I wish the Prepare for your Visit or FAQ section of the website would have mentioned to bring a reusable water bottle. Most spas of this type that emphasize the importance of hydration offer a complimentary "spa" water and tea station but here you only find old fashioned water fountains. They do have tea and juice for purchase, my tea unfortunately arrived lukewarm. The pool area could also use more areas for relaxing (seating/lounging) and some decor as it feels a bit sterile. All in all I think there are a lot of similar spas that offer better value so I probably won't be back but it was a pleasant visit overall.
*** Updated Review*** I’m updating my review from 3 to 4 stars after the operations manager personally reached out to me. I really appreciate how quickly she contacted me following my review. The manager was very understanding, and I felt heard during our conversation. She acknowledged the importance of clients feeling listened to by the RMT and noted that the therapist I had usually has received positive feedback. It might have just been a mismatch on my end, so she added a note to my file not to be scheduled with her in the future. Regarding customer service, the manager explained that her staff is well-trained and typically walks guests through the experience. She also recognized that I’ve visited the West location, which has a different layout and understood why I felt the need for direction. We had a great conversation, and she sincerely apologized for my less-than-ideal experience on my birthday. To make up for it, she offered me a 15% discount on my next service. I truly appreciate the effort made to ensure my satisfaction. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I did the Blitz Luxe package for my birthday, which included a 90-minute water circuit, a 60-minute facial, and a 60-minute massage. Overall, I have a mixed review—some aspects were fantastic, while others fell short. Great Experience: Therapeutic Water Circuit: 10/10 – I absolutely loved the combination of hot salt water, steam room, cold plunge, sauna, and hot tub. It was incredibly relaxing and set the perfect tone for my next treatment. Facial: 10/10 – Emma was amazing! She was very knowledgeable, sweet, and friendly. The facial was so enjoyable that the hour flew by, and I wished it could have lasted longer. Not-So-Great Experience: Massage: Unfortunately, this was a major letdown. My RMT hardly applied any pressure—most of the time, it felt like she was just spreading oil on my skin without focusing on my muscles. I mentioned that I do desk work and would appreciate attention on my neck, shoulders, and lower back, but she spent most of the session on my arms and legs, areas I didn't really need work on. She even ended by massaging my ears, which I thought was odd. I would have preferred this time spent on my scalp or neck. I had to remind her several times to apply more pressure, but it was still too light, even for a Swedish massage. Given the price of the massage, I was really disappointed, especially since I was hoping to feel better afterward but left unsatisfied. Customer Service: 5/10 – I was surprised that the front desk didn’t ask if it was my first visit or offer directions to the facilities. The change rooms were located on the lowest level, and I had no idea until I ran into a lady who showed me where they were and asked for my shoe size. When I was asked whether I wanted my protein shake immediately or in 10 minutes, I chose the latter, but it didn’t arrive until 30 minutes later. By then, I had to rush through it before my next service. When I paid, I didn’t receive a receipt with the RMT number, which I need for my benefits claim. I was told it would be emailed to me the next day, but it’s been 7 days and I still haven’t received it. Compared to other spas I’ve visited, the customer service here was lacking. Overall, it was a decent experience, but for the price, I expected better service.
Body Blitz Spa East has truly become a sanctuary for me with its incredible water therapy treatments. Every visit feels like a rejuvenating retreat, where the tranquil ambiance and attentive staff create the perfect environment to unwind. The benefits of their water therapy are remarkable—it has helped improve my circulation, soothe muscle tension, and leave me feeling completely refreshed both physically and mentally. If you're looking for a place to recharge, Body Blitz Spa is an absolute gem!
This place is wonderful. My daughter brought me and we had a fun, relaxing, rejuvenating afternoon. Very clean and staff was great. Highly recommend. 2 suggestions - as I am allergic to aloe vera, an ingredients list on toiletry products would be very useful. It is omnipresent!!! Also, more benches in the change room really are necessary. There is room for 2 more and it is currently quite crowded on the single bench provided. Otherwise, loved it!
Body Blitz offers a relaxing circuit consisting of a sea salt pool, steam room, sauna, Epsom salt soak, and cold plunge. Last time I went the other guests were so encouraging, sharing tips and tricks to make the cold.plunge more manageable. It's a great spot if you need a break from the grind but can't get out of the city. It's a bit pricey but it's worth it. Staff are friendly and they provide towels, robes, flip flops, shampoo and conditioner, lotion, and blow dryers so it's easy to get ready for the rest of the day. They offer a full menu of spa services but I've never tried them, preferring to do the water circuit.
I have been to this location before, and despite inadequate benches in the change room it was a good experience, although I have noticed wear and tear through the years (I have gone around 6 times over 11 years). My visit yesterday was very disappointing. The sauna was not hot at all. Furthermore, the only cold plunge pool was cloudy. Several patrons were complaining. There were big hair balls in the shower drains which were unsightly but I appreciate can happen especially after a full day. Also, patrons were chatting in the quiet areas quite loudly. Upon leaving, when I noted the broken sauna to staff and asked about a credit of some sort for a future visit the response I got was “no we don’t really do that”. At $84 + per visit that is unacceptable when one of the main features is not operating properly. There are plenty of sauna and cold plunge options open in the city in recent years. I would not recommend going to this location. Edit - I should also add that I called up to have a staff member address the sauna and nobody came down to fix it/look at it.
