Horrible experience. My regular massage place next door was closed so I figured I’d give this place a try. Was hounded for tips on my way out. Felt very uncomfortable having 3 people yelling at me as I left asking me where the tip was… I continued to walk down the stairs to head out of there as fast as I could.
One of the best massage I’ve had. I had 60-min massage ($60) with Cindy. She was really strong. I’ve been having migraines all night and morning and came in with many knots on my shoulders and neck and all tense. I came out feeling much better and my migraine is gone. The place is clean and neat. I took 1 star off because the towel is very old and torn, but everything is clean overall. Don’t expect any fancy spa ambiance or treatment in Chinatown, but you will get a seriously great massage! If you enjoy “deep tissue massage” at a regular RMT, you will like this place even more!
The foot massage was amazing. Michael is a miracle worker. I feel like I have brand new feet now.
Bad customer service and tips hungry. Asking how much tips before massage.
Update Mar.2023 Went again today. Had a great massage. Unfortunately it was still a little cold. I did say something and a heater was turned on. Things were going really well until the man massaging me answered his cell phone in the middle of my massage. This is the 2nd time this has happened to me here. Probably won't be back. Great location and very friendly. I was slightly disappointed at my last visit It was just really cold in the foot massage area and in the massage room. When I asked if they could close the windows unfortunately they were stuck open.
Toward the end of my last treatment with Peter, the other lady barged into the room, and very unceremoniously whipped my towel off, leaving me exposed and very uncomfortable. Peter came back in during this time so now there were two people buzzing around me while exposed. I experienced a lot of unnecessary pain during cupping. She mentioned remembering me from my previous visit when she used bamboo cups at first which were too strong for me, so at my request, we switched to glass that time. She mentioned all of this. She put bamboo cups on again, and very tight. I experienced immense pain and said as much but she argued with me instead of just removing the cups like I was asking her to do. She kept on telling me “it’s good for you.” The overall treatment I received was okay and quite long, but not the treatment I requested. I specifically requested foot reflexology and we agreed to what my treatment would be. I was given something very different. My back was in rough shape and Peter really took his time, which I appreciated. After the cupping I just felt like I’d taken a beating, all while being forcefully exposed. Ended up spending extra money on the foot reflexology I’d been seeking all along at another spa, which was great.
Even though I visited here about a year ago, it still haunts me. I can relate to one of the viewers on female privacy. I’ve been to a ton of massage places and this one in particular made me feel uncomfortable and I ended up being on edge or guard the whole massage. The towel was so small that it leaves you feeling very exposed and getting too close for comfort even when asked to respect boundaries. The massage itself is just okay. I left only feeling only regret and I would not recommending this place.
Julia, Nina, and Peter were exceptional and very professional. They provide the best deep tissue shiatsu massage. We are very active and have seen them 3 times each to work on specific areas of the legs and back. They are the ultimate professionals who know their trade. Also the hardest working people and they went above and beyond to finish the treatment. Simply outstanding. We highly recommend Nina, Julia and Peter. If you want a good massage go see them. You will not be disappointed. We will go see them periodically because they are the best!!
