I signed up for the introductory facial, but after assessing my skin the technician said the regular facial was too intense for my sensitive skin and that I should do some kind of upgrade (which of course cost extra). This felt deceptive since the standard facial is listed as being for all skin types. I went for the upgrade since it was made to seem like my skin would be very irritated by the regular facial. The facial itself was a really nice, I even fell asleep at one point. After leaving my eyes were itching quite a bit. It felt like there had been too much product put near my eyes, so I tried to dab a clean dry face cloth around my eyes. That didn’t help so I had to wash my face within a hour of being home. Not a horrible experience but I’m unlikely to return.

Just started going to Hand & Stone and it is great! My RMT, Linda, is amazing! She gives a truly “therapeutic” massage. If you go for the monthly plan, the massage is $99 for 50 minutes. The front desk staff is very friendly but everyone that works there smiles at you and makes you feel welcome. I had my first facial (at a reduced rate because I’m on the membership pkan for the message so that was very nice) and it was lovely! They gave me slippers and a robe so that I would not have to get dressed before going downstairs for my massage…very thoughtful! Highly, highly recommend.

I have covid and they still charge me a 100% cancellation fee. I have had a membership for years and have never called last minute and understand why cancellation fees must be enforced when people cancel last minute however when I started feeling sick yesterday I thought I was fine and when I finally got a test to check I had Covid it came back positive and I called the salon right away. The fact they refused to care and understand just as a one time courtesy for my many years of loyalty to the salon is incredibly disappointing! Not good customer service at all!

I've been going to Natalia (Natalie) for facials for over a year. She has a vast knowledge of skin care, recommended routines, and her facials are heavenly! Highly recommend!!!

I have had issues with my leg muscles over all being to tight or experiencing knots developing. I went to Sean for deep muscle massage to loosen up the muscles. He knows his stuff and even provided more in-depth information. Deep muscle massage hurts but it really works. Loved Sean L B

A beautiful experience at Hand & Stone Danforth. Terrific staff, excellent massage, plus recommendations for self care. Even a nightlight in the washroom to ensure a tranquil environment was maintained. I'll definitely return.
