We book a spinning class to celebrate a friend's birthday, she did ask for "The most Fun group class experience" and Sweat and Tonic was on top of the list. We had Javier class on Saturday at noon and it was AMAZING. The staff organized everything a month or so before and everything was perfect since we arrived, the last great touch were the most delicious smoothies ever after class!! 1000 % recommended ????

10/10 for the instructors, classes, and interior design. Beautiful aesthetic with great classes. I bought the 3 day all access pass including sauna, somadome and ?tonic bar. When I checked in I let them know it was my first time but I wasn’t given much more than a 5 second explanation of where the change room and where my class would be although online it said to arrive 30 mins early to get aqainted with the studio and I probably only needed 5 mins? It would have been nice if it was explained where everything was without having to ask. I still don’t really know what a tonic bar is and what exactly I had access to. I think the lack of stars is basically because that welcome to our studio feeling and warm tour at the beginning was not present. Classes and change rooms are very busy and full so I ended up just walking back to my hotel to shower instead of the using the facilities to shower. I would still maybe return because I found the classes and instruction great and it is very beautiful inside but perhaps a protocol for new guests should be regularly implemented to create that warm welcome environment. I see I wasn’t the only one who felt this way based on some of the other reviews as well.

This is hard to post but… I will say that a few instructors are some of the best in the city! And the look of the facilities are wonderful but I am constantly disappointed and concerned for the cleanliness of this space. I was an active unlimited member from April to September of 2024 and then I found real human faeces on a towel.. after reporting my concerns I was given a whole $25 credit. I have returned this month because I missed the instructors a lot but on top of the cleanliness still not being great (mouldy showers) really dirty saunas with me finding a screw in one another down fall I have to say is the app and as people have mentioned the double chargers. I have been 2 times charged for late or cancellation fees of classes I have checked into to the point where honestly I leave the bank account that’s attached to this membership empty sometimes because I know they will charge me. When I returned this spring they charged me twice for my card. I did get a refund but I had to ask. As someone who has worked in luxury services such as cricket/ country clubs this kind of service is not to be expected for the price your paying a month. I really wanted this experience with sweat and tonic to be better because of some great instructors but I will have to think twice about if I buy this after my work trip or if I switch to equinox Attached are pictures of the poop towel I was given One class credit for in the fall and the screw in the-small sauna.

I absolutely love taking classes with Javier. His energy is infectious and instantly lifts the vibe in the room. Every class feels like a celebration — the playlist is always on point and gets me dancing and singing at the top of my lungs. The choreography is the perfect mix of challenge and fun, pushing me to give it my all while still enjoying every second. You can really tell he puts so much thought and heart into each class. I always leave feeling stronger, happier, and more energized. It’s truly the highlight of my week!

Nariko’s Hiit Class = 5 stars! I went to S+T for the first time this weekend. It didn’t not disappoint. The space was open, clean, modern. I took the Lift Hiit class with Nariko. It was fun, high-energy, and the community atmosphere was great. I liked the weights, treadmill, ground circuits, it made for a full-body + cardio workout all in less than one hour. Nariko was clear in direction, motivating and a fantastic instructor. I even got a hand-written welcome card! So sweet ????. You even get a nice cold lavender towel after. ???????? Highly recommend!! Next time I’ll try a hot yoga or Pilates class. ????

This gym is my favorite place, with an amazing community, and Erika in the spin room takes it to another level! Her unmatched energy, killer playlists, and knack for bringing people out of their shell make her classes the best part of my week. I always leave feeling stronger, more confident, and inspired. Thursdays wouldn’t be the same without her—we need more of her magic in the new year!

Love this location, very ???? y. I love Bianca’s class, she has great energy and is a beautiful soul she radiates great energy. Mario, is so thoughtful and helpful, literally put me on to mushroom broth and let me say it’s my new morning ritual drink. Definitely will be back, it’s a vibe.

It was my first time at Sweat & Tonic; my partner booked 3 non-refundable credits for us to use on hot & cold therapy but after trying numerous times (waking up and logging in at 7am to book), he couldn't get us in. So we decided to use our credits for a class instead. Upon walking in, sure it looks like a more upscale place but customer service is lacking and we were very confused about where to go or how anything worked (noone showed us around). Then the worst part was our class. I have been practicing yoga for over 15 years, and am a certified instructor myself. I have taken many different styles of yoga classes so I understand each teacher has their own way and there are different modalities. But I would never take Heather's class again, nor any class at S&T. It is jam packed inside with about 5-8 inches between you and the next person. It feels very claustrophobic and overstimulating (especially with the rave music before class started which does not set the tone at all). The flow made no sense from a physically safe standpoint and we went into deep stretches without adequate warmups. The cues were hard to follow because they were not precise, AND at hyper speed. The class was so fast paced, I felt like I had to hyperventilate to allow my breath to actually guide my movement. Yoga is not meant to be a workout, but it can absolutely be physically challenging and rewarding without needing to move so quickly. Taking this kind of class is only going to cause injury and create anxiety. Instructors should be vetted more thoroughly.
