"I was given a 90 minute massage voucher as a gift during my holidays in Canada. I can say it was one of the best massages I have ever received. Yada was my masseuse and she was amazing. The face and head massage was the highlight for me"
"A while ago, I gifted my mom a certificate to this place, and Irina was the one who did the massage for her. She absolutely loved it! The whole experience was amazing, Irina is so professional and attentive. My mom couldn’t stop talking about how great she felt after. We’ll definitely be coming back to Irina again! Thank you!"
"We were greeted with beautiful energy and welcoming environment. We filled in a short questionnaire and then waited a few moments to be taken to our couples massage room. Very clean, massage was great and professional, attentive and relaxing. The front reception staff were amazing and efficient! Would book again and recommend to my friends and family."
"Sabai Thai spa gives you a good, clean spa like experience. I took the facial yesterday, I do like the cleanliness but TBH for a facial I expected more hand movements on the face or more massage on the face through the hands. That actually helps in improving the blood circulation on the face, just applying the products and less massage on face doesn't help much :). I didn't see the glow that comes right after facials. Trust me I've had many facials in the past and they have provided a sparkling glow. Hope to see improvements soon :) The staff was courteous and polite The next visit was pretty satisfying. The focus was given on the facial massage and thank you for listening and addressing my concern in the next visit itself. Look forward for more satisfying sessions :)"
"I just finished having a full serenity package. It was pretty good. However there was a chatty client right next to my room with lots of loud laughing, which made it hard to feel the full relaxation. Spas should have a quiet atmosphere with minimal talk. My therapist was wonderful. And a nice surprise when I went to pay it was a lot cheaper than expected. Bonus!"
"I had just finished my 90-Min Flow Massage with Yada this afternoon . She’s very caring and considerate but very strong. This is my second time at the Port Coquitlam location and though the place is under renovation, it’s still so clean and the ladies working at the counter are always friendly and nice. I’ll be coming back again."
"My sister and I went for a Flow & Glow pkg as we had a pretty hectic week and wanted something relaxing. Sabai Thai was the right place to go to. We just saw an ad on the web and decided to try them and we were not disappointed. We felt energized and relaxed. The only drawback was the website indicated shower facilities but there wasn’t any at the Port Coquitlam branch. I would definitely go ago and try another pkg. Jean was terrific and did wonders for me."
"I’ve been here 2X and this was my last time. They never get better and only care about money. They also are not honest and do not offer compensation for their “mistake” which in fact was them tricking me into coming in for the booking. Here’s what happened. I was trying to make an appointment online with the 25% birthday discount they emailed me. It wouldn’t apply to anything that was already on promo which is pretty much ALL of their services except a few massages + facials. That’s fine. So I didn’t book it. Then a woman from the spa who was the one who also checked me in and out calls me within a few minutes of me trying saying they can book it and will apply the discount when I come there. I said TWICE I didn’t want to book because I can’t use the promo. She said you can come and we can apply it here. I confirmed and asked “So you can apply the 25% off for the 90 minute package towards the $169.00 package price?” And she said yes. So I booked with her and came in within a few hours. This is not my regular spa, this was my 2nd time giving them a chance after the first time my partner and I went and we didn’t like the massage as they are very inexperienced and don’t even use their hands much, mostly their forearm and elbows. I went in, I asked about the promo and price and she said no it’s towards the regular rate. She confirmed she was the one I spoke to and said there was a miscommunication. No there wasn’t - you lied so you could gain a customer. She then offered me $150 the lowest rate from the $169 price. I took it because I needed a massage that day very bad. Figured it might be a good massage it’s a new masseuse. Instant regret at least 10 minutes in as the massage was so sloppy and horrible. It’s like a random person was hired to do the massage. I had a facial at Fluid Spa last week and the one this girl did on me was done so poorly compared to that one and I was just laying there trying to enjoy the massage and facial. The fact the front desk woman who messed up couldn’t honour the discount towards the price I asked and confirmed with her is the main reason I won’t be coming back. I got my best friend a gift card to this spa but I went ahead and made him an appointment at another location because of how my experience war here with both massages and the front desk woman not honouring what I called to confirm with her PRIOR to making the appointment. Won’t be going back and won’t be referring them to any of my clients. Very disappointing experience."
"What an absurd experience. Ladies were super nice but clearly not experienced in a professional massage setting. We had made phone appointments and were told to go into a room, a room that looked like a cheap hostel room. We decided on a thai and chinese mixed massage and what a mistake that was. The thai portion of it was just them pressing their feet all over your body, no rhyme or reason. They even stepped on my hair at times when they were readjusting. Then the oil/chinese portion was wild. It was one move and it had NO pressure, just felt like they were trying to cover as much surface area with oil. There was also a lack of professionalism, when she stretched my upper body off table, my upper body was fully revealed for a prolonged period of time. She also kept stopping the massage and exiting the room to answer the door, all while leaving the door wide open where I was even more exposed. Truly don’t recommend this place unless you just want to have a nice chat with asian aunties and share a not-good experience with your SO. Note: They require full payment at the start (BEFORE the massage) and will ask for tip immediately after. Parking is very good around here too."
"I had a Thai/Chinese mix massage and it was such an amazing experience! Lily (my therapist) identified where my sore/tight spots were without me saying anything, and customized our session focusing on the problem areas but also gave a really nice whole-body massage. Can’t wait for my next session!"
"It wasn’t crowded. The place was neat and tidy. The massage bed had disposable cover for your face and the blankets were white and clean. Cathy was my therapist and she did a great job in applying the right pressure to ease my muscle tension. I’ll definitely come back soon."
"It was a really nice massage, they asked for a 10 dollar tip in the end though which was a bit weird. Other than that, massage was great"
"Not happy with my experience today. This is unfortunate because I usually like to praise excellent service and I have done so with other establishments. This specific therapist is normally good. She did a good job on many other occasions. Today, however, was a catastrophe. I told her the way she was doing the Thai walking on my legs think was painful and please be careful, but just moments later she put all of her weight on my other leg and I absolutely screamed in pain, and I am a big guy with high pain tolerance. I did not even want Thai massage to begin with today. Then, when I asked her to stop and just do the hot stone massage I was requesting, she absolutely burned me with the stones, so that I still have a mark on my skin, and I had to stop everything, pick up my things and leave."
"My partner booked us in for a couples Thai/Chinese massage, when we arrived it was clear they double booked. With no apology from them and we were shuffled into two individual massage rooms. My massage was okay but it was not a chinese or thai massage. My partner’s experience was terrible, the man massaging him did not do either Chinese or Thai massage, he massaged his neck for 15 minutes with one hand while simultaneously texting on his phone with the other. His phone wasn’t even on mute, my partner could literally hear the message bubbles. No oil, no pressure points, no back stepping for the entire 50 minute massage, and just dug around and massaged DIRECTLY on his spine with his elbow. Is this guy even a trained masseuse? The ladies will also literally chase you outside the door for a tip even when they don’t give you the correct service you booked. If you do tip they will still shamelessly chase you outside after you leave and ask for more. A $10 tip on a bottom tier $65 massage wasn’t enough? How pathetic.what an absolute joke of a business. Been here on several occasions and have had questionable service multiple times but this absolutely took the cake for worst experience at a massage parlour."
"Friendly service, reasonable rates. The massage was the best. The massage relaxed all my tight muscles, using strong pressure and skillful technique. The massage included hot stones to warm up my body and body oil. Highly recommend and we will definitely return the next time we visit this area."
"If you are looking for a professional authentic Thai massage, I highly recommend this place. My massuese's name is Lulu, and she is awesome! I had shoulder and lower back pain for a long time, and after the treatment, my shoulder and lower back felt so so much better! Before she massaged me she told me my back might be a bit red from the deep tissue massage. It was, but it went away after a day. She is really amazing!"
