"So glad we visited. As others have said, we were slightly apprehensive due to the area, but needn't have worried. We booked a couple's massage and sauna package online. On arrival we had a very friendly welcome followed by a quick tour of the layout. We were massaged in the same room (and it was one of the best deep tissue massages I've ever had) followed by 50 minutes in a private sauna area with showers. Everything was clean and well maintained."

"The negative reviews about the guy at the reception are fake and almost made me think twice before booking. I’m thankful for the positive reviews from local guides that encourage me to try this place out. The gentleman at the reception is absolutely fantastic! He was very kind and friendly and took time to show me around and explained everything. I felt welcomed and appreciated and that made my experience even better! I started with a 90 minutes premium steam sauna, I love the idea of a private sauna and shower to myself. It was great and clean and I was provided with a clean towel to use. I felt the need for a massage after but unfortunately they were fully booked but they had an availability for reflexology! And Im so glad I tried it. Alex was wonderful and his strong hands relieved months of tiredness and tension in my lower legs and feet! I never knew I needed this but Im already planning on getting it on a regular basis as Im feeling so much better. Overall I would rate this place 10/10! I totally recommend it!"

"Just had a wonderful massage with Susan. She did a great job relieving my neck pain and did a thorough massage that was very relaxing. The spa is probably one of the cleanest places that I have been to. I also like their new infrared saunas that you can enjoy after the massage. The location is close to Strathcona Village that has many interesting shops and cafes to visit after your treatment. I would highly recommend this spa."

Their professionalism and skill helped relieve tension and promote healing, making it one of the best massages we’ve ever experienced. The sauna and amenities were another highlight. The sauna is spacious and truly one of the best we’ve encountered, making for an incredibly relaxing and rejuvenating experience. I’ve been to many destination spas in my lifetime, and while Hastings Spa may be humble in appearance, the service and quality are absolutely top-notch. "This SPA want to still people money, they west our time , at the first one of there girl told me 150 $ for 30 minutes, but after 5 minutes she said it’s finished , you have to pay more for more time. Also there girls are old over 45 years . So please don’t spend your money and your time there , go to another one ,"

"Don't go there. I went the ocean spa because I was tired. before get the service, they want to pay $65. after pay, they asked minimum $50 for tip just massage. I got 20mins massage. I didn't want any more because they cheating me. Manager told me they could not pay back because $45 per 30mins plus $20 tip. Don't go there. Bad place."

"I had a great experience at Ocean Spa today. It was my first time getting a massage and the masseuse, Sasha, was very friendly and professional, she helped me to feel comfortable. Before my massage I had pain in my right shoulder and lower back. After the massage the pain was relieved and I felt very relaxed and lighter, as if a large weight was removed from my body. I will definitely be going back the next time I am in need of a quality massage."

"Worst experienced today. I asked fully massage for an hour. And no any extra service. But she kept asked me 4 times for an hour and I refused that. And I felt she did her job roughly, not professional. I won't recommend here. I pre paid 65 + 15tip. If I knew she did like this. I won't pay any tip."

"Gemei is very good in doing the barefoot back walking massage. She knows all the right spots to press and very gentle with the force. Right after the foot walks I can feel my back is all loosened up. I haven’t felt such relaxing for quite a while… highly recommended and for such I will go back to her for a relaxing massage."

"Bad service. I booked for my appointment at 9pm. I havent started my massage, the lady wants me to pay already for 60 dollars (1hr). Then she said "where's your money?". I told her im going to pay by debit . Then we went to the counter. She wants to get my debit card cos she said she will insert my card to the machine without even showing me how much amount she entered. then i said i'll do tap. She said "no. no tap". So i just cancelled my appointment instead. and she's rude."

"I was really excited to check out this spa, but it ended up being kind of a mixed experience. It honestly felt like the “fast food” version of some of the nicer spas around the GTA. The price was great—$122 for unlimited food, a massage, hot tub, cold plunge, and sauna access is definitely a good deal—but a few things took away from the overall vibe. The food was not great. The chicken I got smelled off, like it had gone bad, so I couldn’t eat it. We notified them and they offered us a free service. The massage felt rushed, and instead of letting us ease out of it slowly, the staff jumped right in, handed us our clothes, and basically moved us along for the next guest. Also, the face cradle on the massage bed smelled weird and looked like it doesn’t get cleaned between people, which was kind of gross. That said, the hot tub and cold plunge were amazing, and the saunas were great too. If they changed a few things, improved the food, and slowed down their past with the allotted massage time, this place could be way better."

The access to the spa gave us access to all the water therapy which was a great experience, and we got unlimited food as well. We also got massages and they were very good. "Had a fantastic spa day! Had the 60 min RMT massage with access to the lounge and water therapy. Included in the package was food .. it was simple food but hit the spot. I ordered the fries, chicken nuggets and noodles. My RMT therapist Victoria - was a perfect 10/10. She's strong... she had the right amount of pressure and flow.. I highly recommend her if you're in need of a deep tissue massage. Customer service was top notch. Starting from the front desk to all the servers who served us. Just went over and above my expectation for our party of 7. If youre looking for quiet and relaxation -- this spa is for you. Definitely quieter than other Nordics spas I have been too. We are already planning our next visit"

"Spent the day here with my girl. Got a massage, chilled in the lounge + got drinks and unlimited snacks. Then we ended up going in the hot tub, cold plunge & dry sauna. 10/10 experience, the massage was great too! Prices were really good too, as they have promos going on during the day before 6PM. "Hands down the worst spa experience I've ever had. My friend and I booked a retreat for two to celebrate my birthday, and from the second we walked in, it felt off. We were told to pay upfront—including the tip—before getting any service. Super strange. We waited around 30 minutes before being taken into the massage room, where the towel and sheet on the bed smelled absolutely disgusting. My friend asked for a change, and they only swapped out the towel—the base sheet still reeked. The massage was a joke. The masseuse barely massaged me, brought in a fan halfway through (??), rushed through the whole thing, and then demanded a tip before I was even dressed. When I told her we already tipped at the front, she said “the front is different from us”—like, what am I supposed to do with that?After this mess, we were supposed to get hand wax therapy, which we paid for, but the same rude woman told us we didn’t. Then she said she’d “give it to me for free if I left a 5-star Google review.” Are you kidding me? That’s shady and manipulative. We tried ordering food, but it was gross and barely edible. We left most of it. When we went to try the water therapy (which was included), she told us we had to finish our food first. I explained that we didn’t like it, and she threatened to charge us next time for something already included. The only good part of this day was spending it with my friend. This place is a complete scam, unsanitary, and has no concept of customer service. Save your money—this spa is trash."

"Very relaxing experience! The service was exceptional and the facilities were well maintained. The hot tub was the largest I’ve ever been in and the sauna and steam room were nice and hot. They also have a cold pool which was very refreshing. Unlimited snacks and drinks was good too. Would definitely come again!"
