"L’heure de mon rendez-vous avec marie-france n’a pas été respecté. Après 1h00 d’attente marie-france s’est présenté, malheureusement j’ai dû quitter pour cause de mon horaire chargé. Marie-france m’a avoué de n’avoir pas pris en note l’heure du rendez-vous qui était pour 9h30 et je trouve cela vraiment dommage car mes 2 visites précédentes était parfaite, à l’heure prête à faire le service demandé et le résultat du travail effectué était exactement ce que je voulais."

"What in the world is this place? They only accept cash, they won't issue a receipt, they have no Canadian credentials or licensing, they have signs everywhere that say the pricing is $80/hr but tell you "no, it's $100 cash only no insurance no receipt". They also don't know what tuina massage is -- I was told to strip down and they were going to use massage oil. I've never in my life had to strip down for a tuina massage, but every other time was in Toronto by an actual TCM practitioner or acupuncturist (they do it over loose-fitting clothing). The therapist I had was on her phone with one hand, texting her boss (??) and listening to voice notes from her boss, while massaging me with the other hand. Her phone was dinging every 2 minutes the whole hour. I've never experienced anything like this before! Ridiculous. I don't understand how they can provide this kind of disappointing experience and charge MORE than an actual RMT that will give a receipt and can put thru insurance? It was so strange. I'm still on the hunt for a proper TCM and tuina massage in Hamilton :("

"My regular massage place was closed for the week so I thought I would try this out. Firstly, after arriving I kindly asked who was going to massage me and the lady told me to “get out” and “I don’t get to ask who does the massage.” I told her I’m muslim and only asked because I preferred a female massage therapist and that she shouldn’t be so angry that I asked a simple question. Secondly, the sign in the store clearly says $80 per hour, she asked for $100 (which includes a $20 tip) - cash only. Thirdly, before I went into the massage room I asked her if she can refrain from using the elbows too much during the massage, it’s just my personal preference and I am paying $100 after all. She told me again to “get out” and “you don’t tell me how to do the massage.” I told her that I will be leaving because I came to relax not to encounter an angry and rude person. I don’t see this place lasting long, sooner than later it’ll be replaced by something else, and good riddance."

"They will ask you for a 20$ tip upfront before the massage. They only accept cash. I asked them if I could have a receipt (not RMT receipt, just regular receipt), and was told this was not possible. I asked them why there is a preset tip of specifically $20 (rather than leaving it at the discretion of the client) and was told in a very loud voice that if I do not want to pay, I do not need to come. So I cancelled my appointment."

"Dr. Ada is amazing. She is a doctor back China, just not here and thats a shame. Help Has fixed several issues and also showed me pressure points for me to do at home."

"Some of their masseuses understand the need to get in there with an elbow to grind a muscle knot and get everything loose again. Some of them seem afraid of causing pain I think, even though it will ultimately result in a better patient experience. I'd happily take more pain during the session if it means I can touch my toes at the end."
