"Went here to fix an ingrown tow mail which was discomforting. Pretty much none of the staff could speak English. They did manage to get one staff to help translate to explain my situation. They said they can do it. So they lead me to a dim lit room and the guy wearing a headband flashlight. Started to work at the nail. But as he got deeper is was extremely painful and I asked him to try not to puncture the skin. He couldn’t understand me and continued. I’m grabbing the seat I was in so much pain from the tool he was using to cut the nail. I had to ask him to get the woman who could speak English so I could explain I couldn’t take any more as it was extremely painful. They quickly said they are “done” and put a band-aid on because my side of the toe was bleeding. Oh and I almost forgot, after he cuts off a piece of nail, he wipes it off his tool ON MY FOOT OR LEG like it’s a rag. They charged $72.80 and asked for tip and seemed surprised when I didn’t. Very poor communication and not good service. I am literally limping as I walk out of their place."

"I recently visited this establishment for a 1.5-hour body massage, and while the therapist, Lisa, was kind and did a great job, I had several concerns regarding the service. Upon arrival, I was quoted $75 for the session. However, during the massage, there was excessive noise from the neighboring room, which disrupted the experience. I politely asked the staff to address the issue. At the end of my session, the owner asked if I would be paying by cash or card, and I opted for card. When the final amount came to $98.56, I inquired about the breakdown of the price and taxes. Instead of providing an explanation, the owner became confrontational, raising his voice and mentioning the presence of CCTV. Even after doing the math, a $75 charge with any applicable taxes (whether 6% or 12%) does not add up to $98.56. At most, the total should have been $88 with 12% tax included, making the discrepancy both confusing and frustrating. Also beware when pay with debit / credit card, owner charges high percentage of transaction fees. As someone who works in the customer service industry, I would have gladly paid the correct price if it had been communicated upfront. However, the lack of transparency and the dishonesty in handling the situation were unacceptable. I urge others to be cautious and think twice before visiting this place."

"I had an excellent foot massage with the therapist, I think his name is Mark. I had an exact hour. He got all of my tight spots on my feet and worked a little more on my right foot. "I experience not the best Massage yesterday, January 24 I forgot her nme but she’s Thai lady at first it seems fine cause she kinda do thai massage but later on she put a lot oil on my body i feel like a roasted chicken and she didn’t to a lot of pressure i keep telling her that she can add more pressure but it like she just touching me and put oil all over my body instead of being relaxed, getting out of the clinic was so stressful for me , i was so disappointed and stress after the massage. First visit and already feeling young again. They helped me with pain I was told to go get painkillers for because it was never getting fixed. Really made a difference. They did an amazing job. "I just finished my massage therapy experience at this venue and I can say that I am more than impressed with so many things, let’s start with the greeting at the door, it was a welcoming experience with a great smile and on point with answers to your questions regarding the billing and the insurance company. The booking process was painless and set right away. Parking in Downtown Red Deer is a nightmare most of the time, but not with Evergreen Massage, it was easy and accommodated for you. The cleanliness of the venue from the entrance all the way to the room is awesome. The room was well lighted and the music was great for relaxation, the steaming after the massage is a must, if feels great to have it after a Deep Tissue Massage, towels are great and comfortable, I mean the towels are not those that not matter how much you scrub, it just does not dry your body. I left the beat for last, The Massage Therapist; Monica, she was amazing and really easy to get along from the start, a pleasant conversation to have and her massage technique was amazing. "I've been patiently waiting to visit this place since it opened and had the opportunity to do so on Saturday November 13 and was duly impressed! As soon as you walk in you are greeted with a warm and calming atmosphere. The decor is simple and beautiful. The faciilties are impeccable; eucalyptus steam room, dry sauna, cold plunge pool, showers and resting rooms are lovely! The owner, Maureen was on site and made sure we were aware of all the options including all natural foot soaks, scrubs, masks all of which can be purchased and applied during the visit (we did a scrub). There are juices and teas available as well. A wonderful way to spend precious time."

"I took my niece for a special outing here in early March, as I was not willing to go to an outdoor Nordic spa in winter weather. I am thrilled to discover this indoor option in my own neighbourhood! Everything was spotless, well thought out, beautifully designed, and in excellent working condition. The eucalyptus steam room was my favourite thing. This is an intimate setting that makes the experience quite different from larger Nordic spas. The 16-person limit was just right. In 2.5 hours, we did 2 full thermal cycles plus foot soaks and facial treatments—we were very surprised at how fantastic the treatments were, even calming/resolving an allergic reaction to a new detergent that my niece had arrived with on her face. The treatment bar staff member was helpful, knowledgeable, and lovely. We snacked at MooShu first, then ate at LaBonita after—truly a delightful way to silent quality time without leaving my own ‘hood."
