"I came in expecting a relaxing massage. You know—calm music, soothing touch, maybe a little zen moment. Instead, I got Linda, who must’ve mistaken me for a slab of meat she was tenderizing for dinner. She went full acupuncturist-mode, talking my ear off the entire time about how “the feet are the source of the liver” and “your thighs connect to your heart.” (Ma’am, what?) I told her it hurt—multiple times—but she kept going like she was battling a demon in my muscle tissue. I left more bruised, more sore, and 1000% more annoyed. So cheers, Linda. If your goal was to make me regret every life choice that led me to that table—mission accomplished."

"I had a massage on October 12 at 12pm. My boyfriend also had a massage at the same time by a different therapist and he was extremely happy with it. I recognize I didn’t say anything during the massage but I really wasn’t satisfied with the service. It wasn’t about the pressure as I do like a firm massage, but it just felt very aggressive in the wrong places, and at the end she didn’t wipe off any oil with a hot towel- I just got a tissue wiping my face and neck. She also wore gloves - which I fully understand is a therapists personal preference but in the past anytime I’ve received a massage with gloves I always leave feeling less than satisfied. I emailed the shop after to inform of the situation as I didn’t want to leave a low review due to the fact that my boyfriend was very very happy but I never heard back; we tipped accordingly. I do recommend Lucky Feet as their prices are fair and the other therapists have seemed very good. *UPDATE* The spa manager personally called us to deal with the issue first hand. The professionalism was very much appreciated and we will definitely be back to Lucky Feet!"

"Employees Smokers start right at the door and it permeates the entire walk way. They don’t care about anyone trying to walk by. Ironically they smoke under the no smoking sign. The city of Burnaby has not enforced the bylaw so you are on your own or walk a different way. Update! they replied ignorant of the bylaws. A complaint has been submitted to Bylaw office."

"I’ve been a long time client with Yuen Spa for quite some time now. I’m from Richmond but always went to their Coal Harbour location. But now conveniently, Yuen opened up a brand new location near No.3 road right across from Richmond Center about a month ago. I went there today for some Easter long weekend relaxation, Just like their other locations, their decor is something you would expect from a 5 star hotel, very beautiful establishment. I had a 1 hour foot / shoulder / neck massage from Mina today, strong pressure and great therapy. I’m glad Yuen expanded to Richmond Center now, I will be coming back here on a monthly basis, thank you!"

Ive been to another location a few years ago and enjoyed it so we called and was able to get a spot for 2 ppl. We opted for the VIP room and it was very luxurious! The chair was very comfortable, they served us tea and we had a private TV. We hadAlex and Molly as our masseuses, they did a 10 minutes shoulder massage which was amazing! The rest of the reflexology was just as good!"

"Last night I went to Yuen foot massage and spa in Richmond location with my Boyfriend for date night. I was very excited to go because it is hard to find good and luxurious massage spas for date. We had a big room with two massage chairs and two massage bed room. I was little cold after undressed in the bed but lady who gave me massage turn the heat pad and used hot towel to warmed my body. That was nice touch! Massage was very relaxing and professional. my boyfriend was very happy with his massage as well. We will love to go back and try foot massage next time. This place has a room that can accommodate 10people for foot massages. I think great place to visit with family and get foot massages together ????."

"Yuen Spa is the newest spa to join Richmond’s fast developing streets. My partner and I visited for a couples massage and it was an incredible experience from start to finish! The spa itself is so tranquil, with lovely touches like self-serve tea to help you unwind before or after your session. The massage was one of the best I’ve ever had—my masseuse, a skilled blonde gentleman asked which areas I needed extra support in (my shoulders) and he worked out every knot while keeping the experience deeply relaxing. My partner loved their massage too—we both left feeling completely rejuvenated! The amenities here are top-notch: spacious, luxurious showers and even in-room TVs in the VIP rooms for added comfort. The VIP options are great for special occasions, and free parking makes it hassle-free. We love how accessible the location is, just a few minute walk from Brighouse station and across from the mall. Eva was not only a talented professional but also someone I grew close to, knowing she was adjusting to life here with her daughter.
