"Ricky N Wonderful healing massage I am fortunate to get regular massages with Qian (RMT) and she is amazing. She reviews my record before each appointment and plans our sessions accordingly. She is also always ready for a challenge like during my last appointment when I had new injury to treat. As an accountant, I appreciate her knowledge of the biomechanics of the human body and her recommendations to treat my back pain. "Went in on appointment time and was greeted by my pre-booked therapist on arrival. After settling in, a different therapist came, claiming mu booked therapist was busy with another client. I pondered why I had booked with one but set up with a different one. Then the booked therapist returned and asked me to wait for twenty minutes while she finished the other client. Seems like they respect more on their walk-ins than pre-booked customers.This was the second time this place / therapists messed up with my bookings. That time, the therapist was not even working while working ones were all busy. I got so turned off that I decided to leave and spend my money somewhere worthwhile. This would be my last time coming after two empty trips. More frustration and stress than relief."

"Worst massage in the Edmonton, maybe in whole Canada. Don’t respect the customers and the therapist left the room before the duration of massage. For 30 mins massage she only provided 15 mins massage. When I asked her about this she was arguing with me. There are some good massage places in Edmonton. Worst experience here."

He truly knows his craft, and his professionalism And technique ensured a deeply relaxing experience. Kudos to him for creatinf a calming and therapeutic session. The atmosphere is quiet and the olace exudes a serene zen quality making it perfect for a place to unwind. I also appreciated the thoughtful addition of a lounge with floor to criling glass windows overlooking the backyard, where you can drink their complementary coffee while bathing in the beauty of the trees. However, one area for improvement is inclusivity. Currently, the spa employs only one RMT, who happens to be a male. While I had positive experience, some clients may have cultural, religious, or personal preferences for a female therapist. Expanding their team to include therapists of diverse genders could make their services more accessible and i clusive to a wider range of clients."

"I have been to Tetherwood many times over the years. My husband always buys me a gift certificate to get a pedicure. I had a pedicure done and the girl that did It was lovely however, the polish peeled by day three and did not even last the entire week of my vacation. I feel for the cost of this treatment that it should have lasted longer as it always has in the past. Unfortunately I won’t be returning, as in my opinion not worth the price."

He's great at working out all the knots while keeping it very relaxing. He also helps with recommendations on stretches to help with any ongoing muscle issues. Perfect????"

"My sister and I visited Tetherwood Spa last Friday. It was our first visit there. It was wonderful "Sister's time" with a little "R & R" @ Tetherwood! The location, place and the staff - all are amazing!! The place has a beautiful and calm vibe. The ambiance is very relaxing and serene. The staff greets and treats you with warm and welcoming smile. I was treated by Madi. She was really amazing! She explained everything about the process and products she used. She was very calm and friendly. "I reserved a 90-minute RMT massage here and was really impressed with the service and especially my massage therapist. He was extremely professional and was so friendly, and I could tell he was extremely knowledgeable given the variety of techniques he used and, most importantly, how my body felt afterward. He was very effective in relieving the tension in my back and tightness in my calves due to an injury I've been recovering from. I was surprised that after just this one session, my range of motion improved, and my body wasn't in pain. I felt amazing! I would highly recommend this spa and this RMT again."

"Edit: Tetherwood spa contacted after my review and offered to fix my cuticles. I appreciated the call. Unfortunately, I was unable to take them up on their offer, but was happy they wanted to me to be happy with the service provided. I have changed the review to 5 stars. Overall, the experience was fine. The vibe was comfortable and the atmosphere was relaxing. The pedicure was amazing. The water temperature was perfect. They did their best with what they could with my feet and the massage was exactly what I needed. I was offered a lavender neck wrap, which was divine. my only trepidation is the manicure. My cuticles are still atrocious and the nail polish already chipping. I went 3 days ago. Womp. I was surprised, because the last manicure I had was amazing. I will still be going back, but frankly, I’m not super happy with my visit. Maybe the tools are to blame as the one I use at home gets the job job. I do want to state that the hygiene practices are top notch and I think a lot of effort is put in to maintaining. I appreciate that very much! Note: my left middle finger (smudge) was my doing -_-"

"First time going, appointment for 1:45pm. An hour before, I receive a message to complete an intake form. This form requires I’m in proximity of the location. I head in early, to fill the form. A bit early but I didn’t mind. I arrive and enter the front door, with a sign on the inside stating, please take off your shoes and’s another sign telling you to wait for your therapist to let you in. This room is freezing as it’s the entryway, not the lobby. I proceed to wait, while also completing the form now that I’m close enough to the location. I continue waiting, ensuring the secretary can see me waiting as well. She looks confused when I make eye contact. I continue waiting. 1:45pm arrives and no one comes to get me. I’m freezing and my feet are exceptionally cold! I’m awkwardly standing there with no one even bothering to check in. I left and immediately called them to let them know I no longer need their service. Could I have just gone inside and inquired? Yes. But to be honest it was already annoying to receive multiple messages telling me I need to fill out the form, that requires I be there in person, to then be expected to wait in the cold with my shoes off."

"Very rude staff , made my partner very uncomfortable when she asked for deep tissue massage therapist girl said she doesnt do while the form that was sent we clearly mentioned she wanted deep tissue massage , my partner asked the girl to massage her glutes due to lower back pain the girl said she cant do without doctor note , lol I am paying not my healthcard , they even made her fill the form again while we already filled it online . Will never recommend You dont deserve a treatment like this when paying 120$ ,either you guys are paying very less to your staff and they are not motivated enough to treat patients as needed ."
