"This my favorite spa in Calgary. It just had such a great vibe and zen right from the entrance. Very attentive and weird stuff. Very clean and cozy rooms. Ofc the true gem of this place is their massage therapists. Love coming here on Sunday for a relaxing day. Oh almost forgot to mention make sure you get to choose orange essential oil your body will smell amazing for the rest if the day ????"

Pros: - major value in their packages - professional masseuses - water/soup provided - relaxing environment - foot and body massage in the same room (scalp massage in another) - honours the exact time allotted for each service - closes at 11pm - “happy hour” Monday to Friday 11am-5pm (not advertised anywhere except their door) - clean facility Cons: - language barrier - no website to view each service in detail Everyone was welcoming and professional! The massage service by Aling (prob incorrect spelling) was above my expectation - will definitely return!"

"Had a good time at this head spa. As soon as we walked in, they gave us slippers to change into. The woman at the front was really sweet and walked us to our room. It had modern touches and had two long tables so we could relax side by side. They gave us towels to change into and we started with the facial. The woman who worked on me was so gentle and really took her time cleansing my face. It didn’t feel rushed at all. Then came the scalp massage, great pressure and it was super relaxing. After that, she blow-dried my hair and it came out so soft and shiny. All of this was only $68 for both the facial and head massage, which is such a good deal. I’d 100% go back and definitely recommend it if you’re looking to treat yourself."

"I was gifted a dry manicure and the manicurist Kasha (apologies if I spelled her name wrong) was very kind. My nails didn't grow in time for the appointment but she did an amazing job regardless. Staff made me a cappuccino which was delicious and perfect for a morning appointment. Looking forward to coming back and using other spa services."

"Have been coming to Ashgrove for over 15 years. Always a great massage for tight muscles. Clean relaxing place to unwind. Gloria made my shoulder feel like it did 20 years ago!! Will definitely return."

"I had the worst shellac manicure today at Ashgrove. I went with two other friends who raved about the place so I was really excited to join them. It started out okay as the tech was friendly but she never asked me what shape I wanted and I noticed after I got home that the shaping was all over the place and none of the nails have the same shape. The paint job was really what caused me concern. I noticed after two coats that it was really uneven so I asked her for a third as she was reaching for the top coat. I was the first one done so While I was waiting for my friends, I was looking at my nails and noticed that there was polish all over my cuticles, the paint job was uneven and that the edges on the side of my nails weren’t straight (gaps were left on the side without polish and the lines were really wavy). I made a mention at the front while I was paying that I really wasn’t happy and she looked at my nails and told me they would fix it. They blamed it on the dark colour pulling away. They got another nail tech (who was supposed to leave for the day) to look at it and she said it should all come off. Another tech looked at it as well and told her just to file down the top layer and repaint/ apply top coat so that is what she did. You can now see areas where she filed down the colour and no new colour or top coat has been applied. My nails look like a mess. After I met my friends outside, the lady who tried to fix them told me that they were going to give me a credit of 50% of the service. I told her I would never be going back and she asked them to refund me half the cost. I am grateful she was lovely and helpful but I am still upset about the situation. I normally do not leave reviews but manicures for me are a splurge and I now have to figure out how to remove this shellac which should have lasted two weeks before I go into the office next week."

"Andrea is the best esthetician I have ever had. My facial was excellent! Products felt and smelled amazing. The treatment was thorough and left me feeling beautiful! The additional neck, shoulder and arm massage was very relaxing and made the whole treatment perfect! I look forward to my next appointment!"

"Edit: I was invited back for another service on April 13. I met the manager Andrea upon arrival and she assured me my visit would be excellent. She was correct! My facial was with Kasia was great as she went beyond expectations. I was grateful for the opportunity to experience a service again. Disappointing experience. This was my first visit to the spa. My facialist ran 20 minutes late (due to the previous client) and she hurried through my service to make up the lost time. I paid well over $200 with tax and tip for 35 minutes of rushed, inattentive service. I will not be returning."

"I’ve been going to Ashgrove Spa for facials for over 5 years . It’s very clean and Staff are always professional and courteous . Whenever booking an appt I always ask for Claudia . She is absolutely amazing! She is professional , very caring and always listens to my skin care concerns . I always feel relaxed during my facial , and end up falling asleep. There are many Spas close to my home but I choose to drive to Ashgrove Spa because of Claudia, and the great service !"

"I was referred to Ryan by friends back in January 2025 for a sore hip issue I'd been dealing with for the past year. Initial assessment was thorough and Ryan is just an all around great and very knowledgeable guy. He explained that its not possible to completely "fix" the underlying arthritis issue and flareups might occur but after the initial few sessions, including exercise recommendations to be done at home, I'm feeling better than I have in ages!! He's really improved my quality of life. I'm taking it day by day but am extremely grateful for Ryan's help and ongoing guidance. I'd highly recommend his services."
