"2024 Update: I've been coming here for 4 years now. I've had facials, nail care, massage, and pregnancy self-care. I've loved every appointment and I love the staff even more. This is my go-to spa to unwind and feel taken care of and I've even been a few times with my husband for side-by-side pedicures (makes a fun date!). Book that appointment - you will not be disappointed. Came here on a Thursday afternoon. The place was near empty - peaceful. The facial was so lovely. I originally booked a different facial beforehand. However, Jacqueline took a look at my skin, and recommended something more suitable for me - without up-selling or pushing. I'm glad I took her suggestion as it has been a few months since I have felt this relaxed. The prices are at par with industry standards and the studio is very clean and modern. Smells lovely and you're greeted with tea and a hot shoulder wrap - this is good customer service. Thanks ladies!"

It was an introductory offer, I wouldn’t do it again, unless they improve the technique and service. On another note I have tried various other services at this spa with very good experience."

"I had the best manicure there. Lina is the owner of the salon and takes really good care of her clients. You don't feel rushed like in other salons. I felt like for her it's more important to make sure she does a good job than to serve as many clients as possible (so rare these days!). The prices a very reasonable. I paid $10 more than I would pay in other salons for sheelac but the quality of work and service is outstanding! My nails are perfectly done, no hidden imperfections. I came home and tried to find any flaws and couldn't! Her products are very high quality. She tried to use natural products from Canadian brands. Everything speaks quality from the cream she uses, equipment to cuticle oil. It's the first time in my life when I leave the salon really happy without thinking I just wasted money on something I could've done better at home. If there is one place I can recommend to anyone in Ottawa, it is Fifth Ave Spa and Nails. A friend of mine recommended this place and I hope the good word will keep spreading!"

"I unfortunately have to give these guys a bad review, which isn't something I've ever done before. I have been here twice. My first experience was decent, so I did not hesitate to book another appointment. I recently saw Jen Works and was privy to a 90 minute torture session. She asked me if it was too much, and on three occasions I expressed that yes, it was. I get massages regularly and there are always portions that are more sensitive than others, but this was the first time where I was in so much pain I wanted to vomit. She knew I hadn't enjoyed my service because she didn't ease into the end of my massage - the time lapsed and she stopped what she was doing and stomped out, closing the door very loudly. It was so odd. I sent them an email expressing my disappointment and worry because due to the excessive pressure, I needed to take Tylenol for 4 days afterwards. Management did not have the decency to respond to my email, but a little over 2 weeks later, I received a generalized email asking us to leave them a Google review, so here I am. Definitely don't recommend as they clearly don't care about their clients."

"Nice people. It wasn't much of a massage. I'm really not convinced the person who massaged me was actually educated in the field. I had better result from a massage chair or my partner (who is not a massage therapist). This seemed to be a general rub, with no sense of knowledge of the individual muscles. Disappointed because it was expense, and now I have to book somewhere else to get some relief."
