I had a pedi (minus the polish) with a hot paraffin wax finish. Pictured in the photo is my feet in plastic bags wrapped in wax. My feet were floating after. Another awesome."

"We loved our experience at elm spa. Its location is very suitable if you are living anywhere in downtown. As we got to the location, the staff there were so welcoming and kind - they took our bags for me and placed it in a secure location while we had our massage. The place was very COVID friendly. They provided us with a robe and flip flops during my time at the spa. Before our appointment, they welcomed us to relax in the garden room where we were offered water and enjoyed the calming environment. We got the 80 min aromatherapy massage and it was so worth it. Andre the RMT was amazing and made us feel comfortable and relaxed throughout the entire experience. I highly recommend this place to everyone and it made us feel relaxed leaving. It is worth every penny."

"Cozy, quiet spot for basic spa services. Price point is decent and reflects minimal amenities (quiet bamboo seating area, steam room, one shower, tea and water). Not ideal for couples/friend groups who want to book services at the same time, as they often only have one aesthetician. The pedicure chair doesn’t accommodate petite people- I was moved to a much less comfortable chair. It’s a good alternative to typical nail salons and/or fancier spas if you’re looking for a quiet escape/minimal services."

Upon arrival, I was given slippers in my exact shoe size and provided with the softest, most luxurious towel and robe. Before my session, I spent an hour in the sauna, which was absolute perfection and set the tone for a deeply relaxing experience. My appointment was with Yuko, and she went above and beyond to ensure I was comfortable, safe, happy, and thoroughly pampered. The head-to-toe session began with a soothing foot massage, complemented by warm towels, a heating pad, and an overall sense of comfort. This was followed by a full-body scrub that left my skin feeling deeply cared for, rejuvenated, and incredibly soft. After a refreshing hot shower to rinse off the scrub, I enjoyed an amazing body massage and then a scrumptious facial. The spa uses organic skincare products, which felt luxurious and nourishing on my skin, leaving my face soft and radiant. The session concluded with a heavenly head massage that completely melted my stress away—I even fell asleep! Yuko mentioned that falling asleep was the greatest compliment, as it showed how relaxed I felt. What made the experience even more special was Yuko’s incorporation of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM). She pressed on acupuncture points, explaining the connection between my body stiffness and the organs responsible, offering a holistic understanding of my body’s needs. After the session, I relaxed in the cozy lounge/tea room, where I was offered a blanket, freshly brewed loose-leaf tea, and some cookies. Before leaving, I explored their incredible selection of intentionally chosen products. I ended up purchasing a self-care bath salts bundle that included essential oil, a candle, freshly dried flowers like lavender and roses, and bath salts. I also bought an organic eye cream from South Africa, every ingredient clean and ethically chosen. Everything was organic and thoughtfully curated, adding a fun and indulgent touch to my self-care routine. I cannot express enough how impressed I am with the care, attention to detail, and overall experience. This spa is a 10/10, and I’ll definitely be recommending it to friends and family!"

"One of my favorite spas hands down. The experience is always above par. The workers are friendly, welcoming and helpful. They go above an depend to make sure you are comfortable and your experience is enjoyable. The spa itself is beautiful and extremely clean. There are 2 lounges (unisex and women's only) where you can relax before or after your treatment. They provide you with fresh fruit, cookies and hot organic tea. My massage therapist was excellent. She definitely knew her stuff and worked out all my knots and tension. I've been going to NovoSpa for over 10 years and even though I've moved to Kitchener, I still make the trek down just to visit."

I did take advantage of the sauna before my service as well. It was very quiet and relaxing. I had the Esse Live Probiotic facial and cannot be more pleased with how my skin looks and feels.
